Also known as Maclure Lake also is the home of Tyhee Lake Provincial Park. There is the odd nice fish caught here in cooler weather but its mostly known as a recreational lake not a fishing lake. It is a great lake for family camping and also has a boat launch that will handle larger and more powerful speed boats.

Great campsite! Very well maintained with big sites that are private. The facilities were clean and in working order . There's flush toilets and hot showers to use which was awesome. Heard some amazing wildlife during the night which was a treat.

Nice private campground, campsites fairly big. The swimming area offers a large area for setting up towels and chairs. No Lifeguard present.

I hadn't been back to the lake in years so I stopped in as I was going through town. It's more beautiful than I remember. The picnic area is well maintained and has a children's playground now. It wasn't warm enough to go swimming but I could hear people out boating and there were people having a barbecue.

The sign is very misleading. Says campsite fee is $27. Since all sites now have power and it says nothing about a different price for power sites, campers are lead to believe that the nightly fee is $27. What a surprise when the attendant asks for $34 and says "they haven't gotten around to changing the sign" super, super misleading and annoying.

Great provincial park campground. Very well maintained, and are constantly adding more features and upgrades to the site. The β€œbeach” on Tyhee lake isn’t really a sand beach. There a foot or two right by the water, but it’s nice grass from the parking lot down to the water. There is a roped off swim area, and a second beach where boats can land after launching from the boat launch as you enter the park. Camp sites are usually very well maintained. Only 1 vehicle per campsite. Costs if you want to have a second. Sites have a fire pit, thick wood table, and are relatively flat. Highly suggest staying here.

Beautiful campsites with power. Had no problem getting a spot when we arrived without a reservation, but almost all sites had reserved signs on them with no one in them. We were told that the staff haven't been trained yet to put up the available signs, so most sites sat there empty. Which is too bad because we would have liked one of the tagged reserved spots instead of the one we got.

Our favorite place to camp locally. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Sites are fairly large and mostly private. Bikepark and playground for the kids.
