★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have NEVER eaten at a restaurant and had an experience like this. Service was slow, waitress could not remember our order, took her notes soooo slow. Didn’t refill our water. Two members of our party had hair on their plates. Food was over priced for the quality.
But the worst was when we questioned the mandatory 18% tip. One member of our party asked for it to be removed from their bill. The service was just not up to quality. She was very polite but the server actually rolled her eyes at us. I could go on and on. The manager was not sympathetic at all, never apologized and did not remove the tip.
The server also spread our complaint to her other tables to the point that they were questioning us. Nevermind that, but they were not handling rowdy guests well. They were up walking around without masks between tables, shouting loudly.. it was a mess. I honestly wouldn’t tell my enemy to go here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst dining experience I’ve had at a restaurant.
My girlfriend and I arrived on time and were given a table near the kitchen while many other tables were available. I asked if we could get a better table and they accommodated us, this is why they receive 1 star.
The waitress took our drink order and came back fairly quickly. The drinks were OK. After receiving the drinks the waitress got really distracted with a table, she’s was clearly having more fun than us while we waited to give our order. Eventually I left the table, walked to the waitress and told her we were ready to order, I’ve never had to do this before, it felt really strange, it’s not like we went to Jack Astor’s for diner, no offence to Jack Astor’s they never gave me bad service
The food arrived 45mins after we sat… It was bland, for once I was thankful that the portion was on the smaller side.
The kitchen staff kept walking by a side door letting in a gust of cold wind disrupting all the patrons near the door while having dinner. There was a main door 7m away which he could have used however he just thought it would be pleasant for everyone to experience the great outdoors whilst having a tranquil family diner. He might of saved a total of 20 seconds but it definitely cost him the waiters tip
Given the location, price and overall setting of the restaurant, this was definitely very unexpected, relatively I’ve had more peaceful experiences at local diners
We called for the manager in order to provide feedback on our experience however she was very dismissive and did not acknowledge how disruptive her staff was.
I would not return nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Also the drink menu is lacking especially for a place with the word cocktail in its name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came for a girls night and the evening started out great. Our server Ryan came by and took our drink order and came back with the drinks very quickly. After we got our drinks, it took a huge turn for the worse. We ordered an app to share and two entrees. The app was hummus and naan bread which shouldn’t take too long…. After being seated for an hour and having no app, we tracked our server down and he said our food was coming up next and that the kitchen was backed up because there was only one chef. Our entrees were ready before our app so we decided to cancel it and just take the mains. The only reason this review gets two stars is because we enjoyed the mains (even though the chicken sat in the window and was not hot when we got it). We then asked the manager if we could order our wine with him and he said he would get our server rather than just taking our order. We finally got our wine after we finished our dinner - not ideal. When we finally asked for our checks, Ryan apologized for the bad service, we sympathize but at the same time, it’s not acceptable when a cocktail costs $18.00 and we are paying for the experience. When we had paid our bill we realized that the app was still included on the cheque. When we asked for change back we only got the cost of the app ($14+13% tax) back, rather than all of our change.. seemed kind of weird. It worked out that our server gave himself over a 25% tip… We noticed that we were not the only customers who were unhappy with their experience and will not be coming back or recommending Twist. Nice atmosphere and trendy place, but very disappointing in every other way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience. I was there with my two girls and they enjoyed interacting with the Twist team. The team went out of their way to make my children feel welcome and anticipated their needs throughout the evening. We were serviced by a new member in training, I apologize, I quite forget her name. But her service was lightning quick and the food quality was superb. My first trip to Blue Mountain was capped off with a fabulous evening at Twist. What a way to end a great stay. Two Thumbs Up !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service, very nice and modern feel patio. Enjoyed the time with family. Shrimp linguini could use some more taste. Chocolate cake definitely came from the fridge and was almost hard to cut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in this weekend for a girls night out and were overwhelmingly pleased with our experience. Our server Sarah was fantastic. She mentioned being fairly new but you would have never known had she not said so. She was attentive and engaging with us and we felt like we had been being served by one of our friends! Riley at the front door was also extremely friendly and helpful. The vibe in there is so fun and the music was great. The cocktails were also delicious. We didn't eat so I can't speak on the food, but everything else was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my new favourite place at the village. “Threesome” is hands down the best cocktail on a menu. Our server was extremely nice and friendly and gave perfect recommendations for us to enjoy the dinner. The Atmosphere and decor are amazing. Place is very clean with amazing vibes. This is a must place to visit if you are looking to chill and relax with amazing drinks
