I love the food, but some folks really do not like their job! Please have a little smile or something! I work hard for my money and a smile goes a very long way!

k	kelsey harford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this food store , I don’t trust any and any place to buy oxtail but this place is good also the price is reasonable the special is $5 and the chicken is good also the people are pretty nice , typical Caribbean attitude but nice if your nice lol I don’t think they’ll have a problem cussing your rass out of your rude though ! Btw the macaroni salad is the best you have to try it if you go !

Today I ordered salt mackerel with dumplings and banana however, it tasted like rubber. It was so hard to eat, I was unable to swallow the fish. There customer service is JUST AS BAD or even worse then the food. The owner tried to imply that I was lying and said the fish melted in his mouth while the co workers proceeded to cheer him on. I will not be surprised if this place closes down this year. Please find the images attached of what was called savoury melt in your mouth fish.
B	Brian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going years. The staff are not terrible but hey could smile. They seem to be only friendly with a few customers, sadly. The trinny lady is very nice and the only one that every was nice to me beyond regular service. I only get the jerk chicken special and 80% of the time I find it really moist and tasty. $3.88 with pop. M postie friends said try the king something up the street. $5 very slow unorganized, the jerk was probably twice the size but my piece was under cooked and dry and tough. Cant be perfect every time. Better if they leave the chicken waiting in the jerk sauce. So I headed back to tunup carribean.

Last time I ordered steam rice and curry and it was delicious today I got steamed rice with BBQ chicken and the rice was undercooked and the chicken was definely burnt. Sadly I think they do seem understaffed so I hope they find someone soon to help. This is definitely a go to spot for great lunch deals
