★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You don't go to Tunkwa Lake to swim. Most people head there for the fishing, and this lake produces!
First week into September you'd think this also lake would be fished out, but nope! It's still good!
Now in Covid everybody wonders what's safe and what isn't; I can assure you the staff at Tunkwa Lake Resort do an excellent job of cleaning and sanitising their cabins after each use, I'm very confident in recommending them for this alone, however I'll go one step further and day the staff are excellent as well!
And the cabins? Rustic 7A was very well appointed, and surprisingly away from the crowd!
Well be back!!!??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been coming here for 8+ years as a family! The staff and rustic cabins are top notch - they have everything you need and are cozy and cute. It’s great to get “off the grid” and go fishing. You can rent boats, kayaks and paddle boards too. There are plenty of places to walk around. At night you can hear the coyotes, owls and loons. It’s such a great place for the dogs too! There are killer sunsets at night, even with distant wildfire smoke. You really can’t go wrong going to Tunkwa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic weekend fishing Tunkwa the cabin and amenities were perfect.Small cozy rustic cabins with everything one would need.The staff were very friendly and willing to help.Be it questions about the facilities or about what fly has been working .I highly recommend the experience.Fantastic place and people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I had such an awesome time icefishing up there. We got skunked but the caretaker pointed us to another lake that was scoring big. Overall such a great time, very nice and well kept amenities, great and helpful staff. We can't wait to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I had such an awesome time up there icefishing for a long weekend. We got skunked but the staff pointed us to a lake down the road where people were having better luck. Commendable move. Couldn't recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back.
