★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This resort is nothing short of magical. We stayed in one of the cabins which actually turned out to be the original lighthouse keeper house! It was so amazing. Very quiet, 15 steps to the beach with curious seals swimming by and the best view of Campbell River at night. Relax, unwind and unplug. A very special spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed our stay at the resort which was welcoming and a fun place to be for a couple of days. The free archery and other amenities were a nice added touch. Rooms were older but very clean and the views are fabulous. I must say the restaurant left a lot to be desired and was a big disappointment. We sat for almost an hour waiting for our food to arrive with little to no attention from the server, and when it finally did both dishes were incredibly bland and the portions very small for the prices charged. I’d go as far as to say this was probably the blandest dinner I’ve ever eaten and that’s saying quite a lot. Great resort but very disappointing restaurant experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lodge showcasing North Coast Indigenous art. Love the food. Will definitely come back when we have longer to visit. Take a walk down towards the water at the back of the lodge and check out the petroglyphs if you can!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a nice time here for two nights. Everything was clean, in working order. Lots of parking. The internet at the time was sufficient enough to stream video on the laptop, as there are no TV's in the room.
The view from our 2nd floor deck of the Vancouver Island mountains and the strait separating Campbell River from Quadra was great.
The rooms are fine, bathrooms and overall decor a little dated, but the maintenance has been kept up, the grounds neat and tidy, and the staff very welcoming.
Couldn't find the restaurant breakfast/lunch/tapas/dinner menu anywhere online, which is unusual this day and age. Went for happy hour - wine and spirits specials, They serve beer, just no beer specials during happy hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and the service was excellent! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the kitchen accommodated food allergies . Portions were very generous. We will definitely return. Even had a whale to watch for entertainment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a pleasure to come and relax here. Got to see the cruiseships coming from Alaska heading back to Vancouver. Even a couple whales playing out in front of us. The food is excellent and have a good appetite as large portions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has a view , but not enough plug in for charging phone. Had to crawl under desk to plug in. No TV in room , should be my choice to watch TV or enjoy the view... didn't like that.
Seem short on staff ? Only half the staff smile or say hello. Didn't seem like anyone was happy ?? Just my opinion for being there 4 days. Food was OK , coffee and drinks.. ok.
Other than that , paying 40$ on the ferry for this ?? Probably won't be back unless things change a little bit.
