★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jerk chicken was burnt and it was all we could smell and taste. Fried chicken was fairly bland - just ok. They cut it into pieces with a dull knife with shattered the bones in it all through out making it annoying to eat.
Coleslaw was different. Didn't like it. Rice and peaaw was dry. Probably wouldn't order again after this first experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the best Caribbean food I’ve had in this city. I really enjoyed the jerk chicken and plantains. Gf was very pleased with her curry goat! I’ll definitely be back to try some more dishes. Thanks for the food, Arnold!

The portions are very generous and the prices are exceptionally reasonable..especially these days. Jerk chicken was juicy and delicious as was the curried goat. Juicy and flavourful. The BEST coleslaw in the world...I am always on the lookout for good coleslaw and this was beyond great. So thankful to have this little spot in downtown Hamilton and will be back again and again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered goat roti and there was mold on the roti. At first, I could taste it, but I thought I must be crazy until I also saw it. Didn't look like much, but I could definitely taste the mold. Such a shame. I was really looking forward to eating it.

He's always happy to make something fresh if you're willing to wait and he doesn't skirt on the portions. Some of the best Jamaican food in the city and his chicken game is on point consistently.
Fried plantains are my go to from here.. easy to take with an they are cheap, filling and fun.
