The place is nice and good ambience. Good option of teas and nice variety of food as well. In the back they have a gaming parlour which is also nice and prices are not bad. The tapioca felt little soggy but it could be one time thing.

Got 3 different drinks delivered through ubereats being this was my first time trying Tru Tea. The 3 drinks I got were the Oreo Galaxy Creme, Tru Milk Tea, and the Cookie n’ Cream. Milk Tea: flavour wise it was better than most place & their tapioca was a lot softer than most places as well! Oreo Galaxy Creme: One of the most sweet bubble teas I’ve ever had, but being a HUGE Oreo fan this was easily the best drink I’ve ever had! Cookie n’ Cream: Was a little better than every other cookies n cream bubble tea I’ve had. Overall this places milk tea is better than most places I’ve tried before & their tapioca is softer than the average bubble tea shops. Taste: 9/10 Tapioca:8/10 (being compared to bubble tea from Singapore) Edit:dropped down to a 4 star bc immediately after my girlfriend & I finished it, our stomachs started killing.

I was so excited to try this place, but it turned out to be such a disappointment! My family and I ordered a number of drinks- the Strawberry Peach Tea, the Dragonfruit Lychee tea, the Taro Milk Tea with Sweet Rice, and the Oreo Creme Drink. All I can say is, this place has invested in great photography to lure you in, but that’s about it. When we got there, they had no tapioca or Mango Volcano drink left despite it being well before closing. The person taking our order was short and seemed ready to close the store. Despite ordering drinks with no tapioca, it still took well over 15 minutes to prepare our drinks. The ambiance of the place was not great, dim white lighting, no where to sit - total motel vibes. It also didn’t smell great (no alluring smell of milk tea, that’s for sure!) We waited outside because it was more pleasant that standing in that store. The drinks were also a disappointment. The oreo creme drink was actually disgusting, tasted like milk with stale oreo crumbs. We threw that drink out! The dragonfruit lychee and taro drinks were both tasteless. The strawberry passionfruit tea was the only decent tea - it had fruit pieces in the drink which were good and it tasted refreshing like a starbucks drink. Everything else absolutely sucked. I love bubble tea and try a new spot whenever I can, but I can definitely say this isn’t the place to go if you’re looking for good quality bubble tea or a nice cafe/vibe. It’s hard to park there too, only street parking! A 2/5 is a gracious rating at this point!

The taste of the milk tea was not bad. Their tapioca pearls are soft and chewy. It was kinda pricey tho. I ordered a small size of milk tea with brown sugar pearls and it was $8.

I got the Oreo Galaxy Creme (left, price $6.65 not including extra for tapioca and extra Oreo) and the Butter Cookie Cake Creme (right, price $6.65, extra for tapioca). Starting with the Oreo Galaxy Creme, it was okay. The flavour of the milk tea was adequate at best but what really threw it off was the texture of the crushed Oreo's with the cake creme. It was so chunky and didn't work well with the texture of the milk tea. It was also difficult to drink at a certain point as the cake creme was too thick. Also the milk tea was on the watery side and not as creamy as you would think would be needed for a drink like this. Now, for the Butter Cookie Cake Creme. This drink was okay. It had the same issues as the Oreo drink but where it really failed was the overall flavour. It was lacklustre and not worth the hype. Please note the the tapioca pearls were really bad in texture for BOTH drinks. They were beyond mushy and just had no flavour. It seemed like they were not soaked in any sort of sugar syrup which is essential to give the pearls a nice flavour aside from the drink. Overall, its not worth it for a $6.65 drink to deliver a 2/5 star experience.

This location is located across the plaza. You may have to park across the street in the plaza like what we did because the street parking is very limited here. This location is neat, has friendly staffs, and a little game machine for the kids. The customer service is still the same, very nice people. This is close to square one mall.

This was my second time visiting Tru Tea and I loved it. Although there is a small seating area, the interior is aesthetic and feels warm and cozy! My whole family loved the Deluxe Purple Yam and I will definitely order it again (although I usually like ordering new drinks but because it’s not too sweet and is super delicious, it’s one of my favourites now) I ran into a slight issue but the owner Erin responded promptly to address my concerns. Overall, amazing drinks and customer service :) Note; Keep in mind that some of the drinks are a bit pricey but definitely worth the price!
