Don't let yourself be intimidated by the pedigree of the world class instructors, everyone is welcome to learn and train here. Families and newbies included. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I joined Troop for 3 reasons: To learn how to defend myself, have a regimented exercise program I could use my entire life, and get the motivation TO exercise! Because, there is NOTHING more motivating than training with a group of friends that are there for the same reasons as you....... that and being choked out by them!!!
With Troop, you don't just receive training, you gain a family. A family that will help push you past your limits and praise you as you grow.
The quality training and teaching from trainers like The Professor, Richard Nancoo, Mitch Gagnon and Josh Sequeira has no limits. They are always willing to spend the extra time needed to elaborate on lessons.
If you want to learn, you will! In both recreation and high level competition, if you want quality, it's here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sudbury is so lucky to have two martial artists like Richard Nancoo and Mitch Gagnon living here and passing on their knowledge. These two guys have climbed the mountain. No matter what your goal or reason for joining an MMA gym (general fitness, recreation, to be a world champion) Professor Nancoo and Mitch will walk alongside you through your journey. They can get you there because they know what it takes to be great martial artists.
I've been training with Troop since its inception and I've gained confidence, knowledge and a second family. The team is very supportive and push me to be a better person. I highly recommend this academy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love training with Troop! I've trained at other places in Sudbury and can honestly say that you would be doing yourself a disservice by training anywhere but Troop MMA. Being a female in martial arts, I found that the Troop are always so welcoming and accepting. I couldn't imagine being part of any other academy.
