Very busy on Jan 3, 2021. Great walk and beautifull falls. People from above falls were throwing snow down and other folks were going up to the ice in the area that is signed to stay away from so watch for these dangers. Wanted to snowshoe but paths to/from falls were too packed so just hiked that and went in bush area by parking lot and it was great in there for snowshoeing.

This is a very popular trailhead. The parking lot fills up quickly. Consider going to the back up parking lot. The trail can get crowded so you will want to have your mask handy for the narrow parts of the trail. The Falls are a great destination with 2 additional falls farther up the mountain .

I went yesterday with some friends around 10am 09/01/2021, it was busy and make sure you take the right way to get there (GPS failed), for a mistake we went to Nakiska Ski Area to park the car, and you will see a sign and it say "This is not the road to Troll Falls". Fortunately, it was only about 5 minutes driving to the exact place, just before going up to the ski center, you will see some cars parked on your left hand side if you are going back to the properly place. Try to go early as the parking lot is very small.

Arrive early to beat the crowds. Really easy hike through canyon. Great for families and kids. We went farther to the base of goat mountain. Passed many people on the way back down and arrived at a full parking lot and many vehicles parked on the road. Bring ice cleats as it’s a frozen river/ stream.

This is a nice easy hike. We took our 3 year old to the upper falls and she did well. I had to carry her the last little bit but she had fun. Too get to the first falls is rather easy and gradual. The upper falls is alot steeper.
