My faithful Macbook Pro died yesterday and wouldn't turn on. I took it to an Apple "genius", who after working on it in the back for 5 minutes told me that it was "as good as a paper weight", that it was a "notoriously difficult model" and that I should immediately go buy a new one. Distraught and desperate (and not wanting to drop $2000) I called an independent computer doctor (TriCity Computers), and the lovely owner fixed it in 30 minutes. It just needed to be cleaned and the parts tuned up. He was fast, compassionate and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this small business!!!

Same day service! Hate to say that because once word gets out, TriCity Computers will be the go-to computer doctor and as it should be. Another local shop quoted me at least a month turn-around which is understandable shortly after the holidays during a period most people are working from home. From the first phone call with Enric he was extremely helpful, informative and happy to assist with my PC. I turned my PC on to find what is known as the 'blue screen of death' and reading forums for others who had experienced this I figured it was a goner. Enric took it in and with confidence said he could fix it and within three hours! I was shocked. He gave me the option to restore my data for an additional charge and I felt that it was a reasonable rate and went with it. Not three hours later I had my PC back and working like new! Previous to the blue screen I was having issues with the built-in Realtek wifi adapter; inconsistency where it would lose connection after 15 minutes or so. I purchased a Netgear adapter and all seemed fine, or so I thought. After getting my PC back from Enric I mentioned this issue as it was occurring with and without the Netgear adapter and he said to bring it back in for him to take a look. He did some quick work; disabling the built-in, testing the Netgear and he saw the connection was not consistent. He tested using one of his adapters from his stock and we had the results we were looking for. He let me have that adapter (thank you!) and three days later it is running like new with a stable connection. Five stars for the knowledge, quick fix and customer service!

Needed to replace my hard drive in a late 2013 IMAC. He tried to up the charge for installation when I brought it in, given how the screen is attached. In the end he honored his original telephone quote, had it done in an hour, no problems.

Taking your computer to anyone other than Enric would be a mistake! His customer service is exceptional & his honesty & clarity are much appreciated. I will continue to recommend him to anyone looking for computer work. If you're not in the TriCity area, this location is well worth the drive if you want cost effective, great work.

Used TriCity Computers many times with multiple systems. Recently rescued me from my own stupidity. Lol. Got me a new system install with correct drives on my dell laptop within 2 hours on a Friday. Why risk it by going anywhere else?!

I brought my laptop in because my screen was flickering and then had gone black. I brought it in to get looked at on a Tuesday at 1030 AM, I got a call at around 1 PM with the problem and by Wednesday at 12 PM my laptop was fixed and given back to me. Great service, I would bring my computer equipment here again, no doubt about it. My only issue is the store isnt open on weekends but hey who doesnt like weekends off.

After a long search and based on the reviews, I've decided to give it a shot with TriCity Computers for my "almost died-out" MBP. Apple surely gives free diagnostics and OS installation/update/backups etc, however, pretty much what they were saying was 5+ years old macbooks cannot be repaired or serviced due to their policy->suggested me to purchase brand new model at time, which might've cost me $2,000+. (Yes, I've had numerous events like this with couple of macbooks I have, some were 10years old, granted, but some are less than only 2 years old.) Anyhow, Enric was a saviour, replaced battery, screen, and HDD for couple of my MBP and MBA since 2 years ago and I am a repeat customer. Reasonable price, fast turnaround time for repair, knowledgeable to all of my annoying questions and inquiries, and yet, he SAVES them for the most useful conditions on an affordable rate! He also gives out honest opinion when it comes to repair after diagnostics, so that you don't need to splunge for something that's not worth for. He advised me not to spend $ on repairing some of previous macs, instead, asked me to browse around for replacement even. My 2013 MBA is still going strong which I would've either sold for almost nothing or purchased new MBA from Apple for another $$$. Instead, Enric helped me with fraction of $ and I cannot be happier. Thank you!

Mr. Soh was very knowledgeable and helpful. My laptop was in bad shape and he only charged me for the labour of taking a look into whether or not he could fix it. I would highly recommend coming here for any of your Apple or PC products! He is reasonably priced, kind, and helpful.
