S	Steve Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As many have noted below, this place has very small portions and the ingredients are old and stale. Also, they are very misleading with the prices and portions. The food is terrible, especially for what they charge. It is not worth it. There are way better options around the area that tastes better and that is way cheaper and cleaner. EDIT: I also forgot to add that I got sick after eating here. EDIT: to respond to the owner's response below. If anyone took the time to read the numerous reviews regarding portion sizes, relative prices, and old ingredients, they would know that it is a common theme. Also, you don't have to ask me twice to go elsewhere, your food got me sick. Perhaps another food safety inspection is in order.

Yesterday I ordered crispy tacos and got soft tacos, which came in the small box and now have become even smaller. 3 tacos is not enough for a meal. I called the place and told them they gave me a wrong order. 3 stars is for bad customer service because the guy that picked up said nothing he could do here and next time they will add some thing nice to my order... there are better places at Kensington to order tacos...

R	Rick Sanchez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly discourage anyone looking to buy tacos from Tres Compadres. This place is a joke. I bought a couple "single serving" tacos for $6.75 per serving. When the term single serving is used, the standard is 3 tacos, however, for Tres Compadres it literally means 1 taco. Are you kidding me, $6.75 for 1 taco? I am Latino, I grew up eating well made tacos (at home and from the streets) and I can guarantee whoever is reading this that these tacos should NOT be worth $6.75. I would not be as upset if the tacos were actually delicious and thoughtfully made. The corn tortilla looks, feels, and tastes the same as the Piaxtla corn tortillas that can be bought at No Frills ($2.79 for ~15 tortillas). If you are going to charge $6.75 per taco at least make your own tortillas, they are easy to make. I am telling you from experience. I did not find the size of the tortilla big enough to justify its price either. The amount of protein (chicken and fish tacos specifically) was average at most. If you are looking to eat tacos here in Toronto, please stay away from Tres Compadres, unless you want to give away your money for mediocre food. There is a plethora of places with much cheaper, larger portions, and in my personal opinion more delicious tacos.

Definitely overpriced too as the taste was so-so and they were really dry. Look carefully West along Dundas for a place where you can get three oversized (I'm talking twice the size of these hamster portions), double tortilla tacos for 25% less!!!
S	Sava Stosic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The portion sizes here are laughable. I placed an order through skip the dishes and received the smallest tacos I've ever seen. They're about the size of a perogie. On top of that, there's nothing special about them. The toppings are bland, and the taco shells were luke warm and tasteless. Six of the tacos included in the picture are $40. Extremely over priced.
