★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you visit Campbellford, this is a must-visit place. you will have relaxing time there in three levels. The trent river is very beautiful down the Ranney Gorge Suspension bridge.
The park canada workers are super friendly and helpful. They will explain you everything you are interested in knowing about the lock and waterway system.
Two locks are located one next to the other. If you are lucky, you may see the operation of lowering or lifting the boat.
Parking is free and you park very close to the locks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn't get to see the locks work but the view was amazing. You can just relax in the grass area and read a book, sip on a cup of coffee and it's simply beautiful watching the river.
