I had phoned a few other tax places and they either didn't do taxes for deceased people or would call me right back and not. I called and spoke to a very nice young lady who gave me an appointment to have my moms final taxes completed today. And was surprised that they charged me nothing. So very respectful to my mother. After taking to multiple locations, I chose this since the accountant said he would go it with me as I started a business in 2020.
The accountant was very informative. He helped explained each step and went through it with me.
I had gone in with prior understanding and the accountant was able to clarify and help me understand for future savings.
I would recommend their services and will go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a few years they were great, but now they are not. They do the work, don't explain, demand signature after not knowing what they did, or how they did it. I guess I'm supposed to sign on blind faith. I tried for a few months to get a meeting with the Sr. Officer there, had to keep waiting. Nobody followed up. So if you want a cookie cutter unexplained tax return or want to do your business accounting with them, good luck. They will just direct you to CRA site. It's sad really, because they used to have a great, personable team. I guess they're growing bigger and losing that aspect. They lost us too.
