★ ★ ★ ★ ★ East End now has 3 rinks.. the one "main" rink which is very nice - good bleachers, fancy scoreboard, a nice lobby outside with a canteen that seems to be open all the time. The popcorn smells delicious and I'm told tastes just as good.
The two other rinks are older, the dressing rooms are a little more dungeounous, and the stands a little more ricketedy. However, the ice seems to be a little faster on the old rinks.
The one at the back has some of the most active boards in the city. Dump the puck in at any odd angle and watch the fun.
Parking lot is fairly large, but the lines are drawn pretty tight so prepare to squeeze in on a busy night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has it all 3 rinks the 2 older rinks are cooler , new area able to accommodate lots of fans. Large canteen lots of rink goodies and a area with tables and chairs. There is also small sporting goods store for odds and ends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used my wheelchair, venue had decent amount of accessible parking , rink attendant gave me access to an elevator key to watch hockey from up top , darn good thing also as the boards are so high I wouldn't have been able to watch the game , thanks rink guy !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our "home" rink for practices. It's nice and close to the perimeter, which is great if you're commuting far.
It's a decent temperature in rink #1 (not uncomfortable either way), but #2 & #3 are chillier in comparison.
If East End gets a livebarn feed, it'll be my new favourite rink lol.
Location wise, it's great. Quality rink with decent change rooms.

On the "cold arena scale"...
--Rink 1: 6-7/10
Great arena temperature.
Best rink in the facility.
It's right by the main entrance, easy to find, and used the most so the temperature control is great in this rink.
(but it's a 1/10 when the heaters are on-- those are very very very effective, wow lol).
--Rink 2: it's about a 7-8/10?
Manageable but cold.
Same heater comment lol.
--Rink 3: 9/10?
It's cold.
Wear your jacket, bring a blanket, grab a coffee and snuggle with your neighbor lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great rink. Was there today watching my niece play. They do a good job keeping it clean. They still have signs up saying masks recommended which was nice, giving the people the choice of what they wanted to do and what they were comfortable with.
