Towngate Dental Centre

I enjoy my visits to the Towngate Dental Centre. From the time I arrive to the time I leave, I feel welcome and cared for by a great team of professionals. Having had many experiences with other dental centres both in B.C. and other places in Canada, I can say that none are better than the Towngate Dental Centre.

Follow-up post after my dental hygiene appointment at the end of September, 2020: It was great seeing Rafael and Susan again after the pandemic hiatus! Rafael (Dental Hygienist) has always been so gentle and masterful that I could easily have a nap while he's doing his magic. Susan is the diamond of the office. Patients are greeted with a smile each and every time; I've never seen her lose her cool. It's always a pleasure to see her! As for COVID-19 virus prevention, this office goes beyond the mandatory restrictions for dental offices. I (and speaking from my professional role of Safety & Health Officer) felt 100% safe, and deemed the entire environment as spotless with the several decontamination processes and protocol in place. Very impressive... thank you for keeping yourselves and all of your patients safe. ------------------ I have been to many dental offices in my 50 years, but Towngate Dental Centre stands out as being exceptional. I have been going here for several years now, even though I've moved a distance away now. It's just that the atmosphere is so friendly that I feel like part of a family. You will be greeted by Susan, the one that is always smiling and can answer any questions you throw at her! Dental Hygienist, Rafael, goes beyond the call-of-duty and offers advice and suggestions that no one has ever shared with me before, and the tips all make so much sense. He is also a gentle Hygienist - I never worry about enduring discomfort when I have my quarterly visits with him. Speaking of gentle, Dr. Olivar is compassionate to your needs and how you feel. She tells the truth and there are no hidden agendas when it comes to Dr. Olivar. Most importantly, besides her exceptional dentistry, is that she LISTENS. Thank you to all the Staff at Towngate Dental Centre! I would highly recommend paying them a visit. Seriously - you won't regret it.

I’m a long time patient at Towngate, more than 8 years. Before that, I had been jumping from one clinic to another. From regular dental check up and cleaning to complicated extractions. Dr. Norina and Raphael (Dental Hygienist) are really the best at what they do. I don’t live in Surrey anymore but an excellent dental care is worth the drive.

Towngate dental team cares for you like family. Communication is genuine and sincere. They take time to educate and explain dental care. Most especially, there is calmness and patience in the clinic. It never feels rushed, and you feel they’ve given you their full care and attention.

After my dentist retired, it was great to receive a recommendation to Towngate Dental. The procedure was as pleasant as a dental adventure can be. Painless, great chairside manner and I think I can now say I have a new dentist! I have been coming here since I was very young, and over the years, the care and attention Dr. Nanette Olivar and the Towngate staff have given is exceptional. Even though I have moved to Downtown Vancouver, I still come out to Guildford to get my dental work done because of the exceptional service, plus the dental team is so courteous and attentive. It’s so hard to find a great dentist, so it’s well worth the trip. Even with the new COVID-19 measures in place, they have made going to the dentist a very safe and comfortable experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing dental clinic, from the receptionist Rachelle (pardon me if I mispell anyone's names) and dental hygienist Raphael to Dr. Lee. Came here by recommendation, Rachelle was welcoming answering any questions as were all staff. The dental Hygienist Raphael is very attentive to comfortability and educational on concerns you may have, not to mention thorough with examination and cleaning, all-around great to talk to. Dr. Lee confirmed any and all conditions I had, recommending routines and or work to be done as well as assuring me of non-concerning factors. It's really refreshing to know now a clinic that really puts their patient first before business or, as Rafael put it, teaching you how to catch the fish before giving you one. Going to return as a repeat patient, thanks a million Towngate Dental!

This is a great place I strongly recommend. Everyone here starting from the receptionist to hygienist, dentist helper (sorry my bad memory I haven't remembered everyone's name yet) and my dentist Dr. Lee they all very friendly and professional. I've been here 4 times and each time I was thoroughly explained about my teeth problem, my options to deal with it and possible charges I may pay. Every visit was warm and comfortable, and during my last visit, my dentist Dr. Lee has done an amazing job on my teeth filling. Come here if you are looking for good care to your teeth!
