Tower Moving Company

This was by far the most unprofessional moving company my family has ever used. We had a very large move planned and we gathered several quotes from different companies. We went with Tower because we were guaranteed a cap for our quote. When we got the invoice, it was about $7,000 OVER the initial guaranteed quote. On top of that, we had extensive damage to my old house, new house and many of our belongings. The total was in the in the thousands. Many of the movers were very friendly but obviously inexperienced and very young. I don't think this company was equipped to handle a large move. If that wasn't enough, they forgot to move a few items from our old house, including my FREEZER (which we subsequently lost). We paid for assembly but a few items were never assembled so we had to hire someone from task rabbit to assemble them (more lost money). When we brought up all of these issues with the company, their idea of a compromise was to reduce the total invoice but it was STILL SUBSTANTIALLY OVER THE INITIAL QUOTE. So in summary, we ended up paying more than our "guaranteed cap", lost money in further moving/assemblying and replacing lost items, did not get our moving insurance cost back and had damage to our expensive furniture, walls and hardwood floors without compansation. We decided to pay the initial amount owed and demanded compensation for all the damages to our belongings. Instead, they charged our credit card WITHOUT OUR CONSENT for the remainder of their inflated invoice. Be very careful and always get all agreements in writing because this company is extremely unprofessional and will tell you anything to secure the job then bill you after the fact.

Managed to find a slot for a day that worked for us. The guys came on time, very professional and quick - didn't dilly-dally - knowing that they were getting paid by the hour - very happy about that. Took good care of our belongings while moving and loading and unloading. Disassembled and assembled the furniture fairly quickly. Would highly recommend and definitely use their services again next time..

As someone who has experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to moving companies; these guys were phenomenal. They were on time, courteous, and professional. Had loads of runners and protection for the floors in our home. They handled all of our furniture with care and ease. Most importantly, they treated our home and belongings with respect. I am absolutely thrilled with our experience with Tower Moving, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company! Cheers!!

I am very happy with Tower Moving. They arrived on time (actually, arrived a few min early and knocked on my door at exactly 10 am). They wrapped all items that could otherwise be damaged. We disassembled most of our furniture in advance, but we had one shelf that we couldn't take apart. The Tower Moving guys did that very easily. All items arrived in good order. All was finished at 2.05 pm, they could bill us for 4.5 hours as per the contract, but only billed for 4 hours. Overall, very nice and efficient, thanks guys!

We had a great experience with Tower Moving. The two movers were professional and friendly and did a great job. They were both pleasant to deal with throughout. All of our items were handled with care from start to finish.

Great experience from beginning to end. Dealt with Matthew setting up my move which was basically from Toronto to Barrie. They showed up on time, were very understanding with last minute changes, and left with no damages. Rates pretty reasonable, especially for the service.

Excellent experience with Tower Moving. They showed up on time, were very friendly, and couldn't believe how they took the time to wrap almost everything to protect it. You MUST expect some damage during a move, and there was very minimal/minor; nothing that I would complain about. They went non-stop for over 12 hours to get us moved. I can't say enough about Tower and would highly recommend and use them again.

We hired Tower Moving to move our belongings from Toronto to St. Martin’s, New Brunswick, and were very pleased with our initial contact. The price was not cheap, but we were reassured by their good reviews that our possessions would be in good hands. Unfortunately, our experience when they arrived in NB with our stuff was incredibly disappointing. They had only two mats to protect our floors, which meant mud, grit, and salt (this was in winter and we had salted outside to ensure they wouldn’t slip) was tracked through every single room of our new house. There was no offer or attempt to clean any of it up. As we started unpacking, we found many of our furniture pieces had been damaged, including wheels broken off of office chairs and a large crack in the headboard of our heavy wooden bed. When we contacted the company about the damage, we were told we’d need to provide photos of the damage (which we did) as well as details of where and when we’d purchased them. Several of the damaged pieces were things we’d had for over a decade, and at least one was a gift, so we did not have this information at hand and were therefore not compensated for any of the damage. All we got when we sent photos of the huge mess on our floors was a message apologizing that the team didn’t have enough mats. No offer to pay for cleaning or refund some of our money for the inconvenience. Honestly disgusted. We’d have been better off taking our chances with one of those cheap companies with mixed reviews.
