★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cynthia was a wonderful guide. Her background as a history teacher supported her wealth of knowledge about Zurich. We are so glad we took the tour as we saw things we never would have found on our own. We enjoyed it so much we recommended her to our traveling companions who booked a tour with her the following weekend. This is the 3rd or 4th time we have used Tours by Locals and every experience has been amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vivian is an outstanding tour guide. In advance of our 27/05/22 customized tour, she sent a very helpful list of things to know. She picked us up at our hotel & had a driver. This provided more tour time. Vivian's knowledge of historical Quito & Ecuador was amazing. We went to a great foodie spot for lunch & we invited her to join us to learn more about Ecuadorian cuisine. We ended with a market tour.
We would highly recommend Vivian! She is very knowledgeable and an overall fabulous tour guide!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pieter was a fantastic guide! We had a lovely day roaming the small villages of Alsace, learning about the local wine, and eating exceptional local cuisine. His choice of vineyards was thoughtful and well planned without feeling rushed or fussy. He is truly a gracious host.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Christopher S. for tours of Poland, especially if you are interested in not only seeing the sights, but also learning about Polish history and culture on a deep level. Christopher is extremely knowledgeable about Polish history going back to the time it was a kingdom through the present. Christopher will plan an exceptional itinerary for you and will modify it to make sure you see everything you want to see. He will drive you in his Mercedes mini-van and he will take care of details, such as hotels and restaurants.

Xavier helps you capture the essence and spirit of this magnificent park.(National Park of Del Torres de Paine, Patagonia, Chile) He is highly skilled and most knowledgeable of the park (geology, weather, fauna, wildlife and trails).He assessed our abilities and limits and chose a perfect trail for our hikes.He was flexible and patient (we're both over 70) and challenged us.We truly are grateful for this experience with Xavier.He is an excellent guide but more importantly a great human being.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Valery is truly the perfect guide for our trip to Moldova. He put so much thought and planning into taking us to Moldovan wineries for wine tasting and tailoring the tour to exactly what we wanted. We ended up having so much fun at the first two wineries that we didn't have time to make it to a third. Throughout the day, Valery felt like more of a friend than a tour guide as he answered all of our questions and gave us great insight about Moldova's history and culture. If (when) we return to Moldova, the first person I am calling is Valery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour organized by Mr. Zeki was absolutely incredible! From the history of every single tourist destination to his and the captain's hospitality, everything was well-thought and planned out for an amazing trip in Cappadocia.
This was mine and my family's first time in Turkey, and I can definitely say that we had found the best tour guide to help us out through any tight situation - like the booking for the hot air balloon - and so much more! He made us comfortable throughout; thank you Mr. Zeki!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We absolutely loved our 3 hour walking tour of magical Charleston with Mary C. She was so knowledgeable and brought pictures from the past to show the differences from the past.
Do not hesitate to book a tour with her.
We hope to come back and book another tour. The three hour tour was an easy walk, we had a bathroom break too.
