★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything is amazing and special about this place, products, atmosphere, quality, AND the owner. My most favourite product is Shea butter, superb quality and priced very well. Both butter and black soap I bought multiple times. Yet, the best part is to find authentic and hand made creations of African people, you feel great when you buy a gift for your friend knowing you helped moms, women in Africa to feed their families. Omar, the owner, super passionate about supporting his people back home, and has created a family ambience in the store filled with music and stories.
Go and visit Touch of Africa, you won’t regret, guarantee!! Thank you Omar for leading with the heart!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was referred to Touch of Africa by an artist friend in Vancouver, and was immensely pleased immediately upon entering and chatting with the amazing owner, Omar. Omar has an incredible selection of traditional, African-made and imported wares, ranging from textiles to pottery to musical instruments. Most importantly, Omar is a genuine and thoughtful business owner, treating each customer as if they're the only one in the store. The highlight of my experience was getting to meet him! I highly, highly recommend you stop by Touch of Africa to support the shop and Omar : )
