The absolutely worst business in Salmon Arm, bar none. Can't even believe they're still in business, given all of the stories from numerous people who have all had negative experiences. From 20+ years ago when the lamp my husband bought there failed within a week, but they refused to back up their product...to our VERY pregnant (9 months) friend who asked for help from the staff when she tried carrying the large box containing her new stroller, but help was refused.....to my daughter who called and ended up in tears, all because they refused to tell her if her parcel was there or not...and twice now they have passed the buck, blaming Purolator for not advising us their parcels have arrived. They told us they would hold our parcel, but they did not and had Purolator return it. They advise that it's up to Purolator to phone people, but they sure have no problem calling to advise they are returning your parcel. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! SHOP ELSEWHERE AND HAVE YOUR PARCELS DELIVERED ANYWHERE ELSE (BALMORAL STORE FOR THOSE OUT THAT WAY).

This is my first ever review of any establishment anywhere. I have to say that twice now a few ladies that work here have been nothing but rude. Insisting their correct, hardly being open to what the customer is trying to expalin to them and just seem argumentative. I understand they are only a drop off point for puralator but the customer service skills are at a level zero. Trying to help solve problems actually involves listening to your customer not just assuming you can't help without being willing to listen. Hope these women have better days because the experience of dealing with this business has been difficult to say the least.

I called this morning to find out why I had received only 2 of the 3 boxes that had been shipped to them for me (Purolator). (I found out that all 3 boxes had arrived at Total Office Supply). At time of pick up, I did not realize that the company I ordered from had shipped 3 boxes. I simply came to pick up whatever was at Total Office, after getting notification that I had a parcel there, and got handed 2 boxes. Later I found out that there was 3 boxes and the 3rd got shipped back to the originating company because I did not pick up within 5 days. During the phone call to Total Office it started out ok. The employee transferred me to the manager to figure out what the mix up was. Right away the manager interrupted my initial explanation to ask for my name. I gave her my first name. She then said in a slightly snarky tone "Do you have a last name?" It's not like she was putting it into a computer (she said later in the convo that they don't have a computer to track packages from Purolator). So I gave her my last name also, and continued on with my explanation of what I knew about my missing parcel. I was respectful in voicing my mild frustration. The manager gave different reasons why I didn't get my package, and with each of her explanations I gave her a counter-reason why what she was saying wasn't valid or acceptable. I realize that can be very frustrating on her end, but customer service IS about making sure mistakes get acknowledged so the chances of them happening again are reduced. She became rude and righteous. I was surprised that she got that tone with me and said "Wow!" and I called her on her tone and her words, letting her know her approach was not professional, she HUNG UP ON ME! This is NOT acceptable. I was was not a rude customer. I was not being abusive. But I definitely wasn't accepting her excuses about my package either. She didn't like that I wasn't accepting the excuses and decided the best customer service I was worthy of was a hang up. This makes me worried how I will be treated with any future orders. I don't have options as to where Purolator sends my packages due to living outside city limits, etc. And now I have serious concerns as to what to expect the next time I have to go to Total Office Supply. Ugh. Where do I go from here? Talk to the owners?

Sent a package directly to a customer of mine (not a hold-for-pickup) at their home address. Somehow local driver drops off here as a purolator depot rather than the delivery address. My customer is an older person without great access to internet and an hour away. The "manager" their refused to allow me (the original shipper) to give release to my clients son-in-law. Gave me a run-around with purolator policies. I had offered several solutions - all where met with "call purolator". Their total lack of service and by-the-book attitude cost our business an extra 20% on the shipping bill and an hour + of my time. Result was an upset customer. Avoid shipping or using Total Office Supply.

My mom deals with this store on an ongoing basis and they are helpful. The clerk spent time showing my mom the cause of a potential problem. And wow, famous person in the midst, their graphic designer, Justin Maas, now has a book out. What an amazing artist.

If you have any printing projects that need to be done, I highly recommend using Justin at Total Office. We've had him do a ton of different projects for our store (posters, business cards, bookmarks, gift certificates, vinyl stickers, foam core signs, envelopes) and he always does a great job. There have a been a couple of projects I didn't think a shop in a small town could do, but he always surprises me and has managed to produce everything we've requested over the years.

Have been dealing with Total for many years for my business needs. Service is outstanding. they carry nearly all my every day needs in stock and if they don't they can usually get orders within 24-48 hours. On many items they are far less priced then any on line shopping sites such as Amazon. Highly recommend this local retailer.
