About Torvic Woodworks
Torvic Woodworks began as a dream for founder, Vic Janzen, while he was still a young boy working alongside his father in his carpentry shop. Vic has always had a love and passion for wood and is thrilled to be able to use it to create pieces of furniture that his clients love. Craftsmanship and attention to detail are integral to Vic and are evident in every Torvic creation. He has been blessed to have his personal business turn into a family business, that includes his wife and three children. Whether working in the office, building furniture, or assisting with installs, each family member has a vital role at Torvic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vic did custom cabinets for my kitchen a number of years ago and we were always really happy with them, but more recently he created a custom pantry and closet and as always the quality and craftsmanship is excellent. I live in a older house that requires problem solving and Vic always thinks of a way to make stuff work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently hired Torvic Woodworks to do a specialized job of installing a piece of antique stained glass into an antique door. We requested that the door be hung barn-door style in our heritage condo suite for one of the 2 bedrooms. Vic and his son did a great job of refinishing the door, installing the glass, a brass door pull and the door. My wife and I are very happy with the results and their professionalism, attention to detail and pride in their work is reflected in the results.

Timely to respond to requests + completion of projects. Recently, we had a kitchen storage cabinet created + installed. Love it!

He guided us through the process with regard to style, material, stain colour etc. He gave us a timeline and the bench, with great storage, was completed and installed just before Christmas. He did an amazing job and created a beautiful piece. We completed the project with cushions and are thrilled with the finished product. Vic and his son were a pleasure to work with.
