We generally like staying at KOA's and this one was no different, this campground made our trip to Canada very nice. The workers and the management were more then amazing, I cant thank them enough for all of their efforts of making our stay at a very small 30amp sight while we had a bid motorehome that required a 50amp hookup. The trimmed a tree to make us fit and went back and forward to assist us with our unique problems and we cant be happier with their amazing dedication to make us feel at home! The amenities at the park are ok. I would vote to clean the washrooms a bit more often on days when the capacity is 100%. The pool is great and have I said the staff is amazing??? Will definitely recommend to anyone, especially families with small kids

Good campsite if you have an RV or trailer. Clean, open and many amenities. They have several cabins of various options. We had a back-in site and basic cabin for a family of 8. I prefer tents so I setup in the back-in area. For me tent camping here isn't that good if you like woody areas and trails. But for the amenities, showers, bathroom, pool and laundry the kids enjoyed it. We still have 2 more days to go and see that we will have fun. They also have daily activities that some cost extra but the staff is very friendly and the other guest made for an enjoyable get away. It is also apart of KOA and is right off 400hwy next to Tanger Outlet.

Clean facility well taken care of, bathrooms in two locations both extremely small. No mirrors to get yourself ready after shower you have to leave and go into a bathroom. Lots of fun events for kids... Pool with salt water which is nice! A splash pad for the kids jump pad to playgrounds. A large chess game, volleyball, basketball, cabins. Each fire pit has a grill built-in which is fabulous. Garbage pickup at site which is nice! Friendly stuff all in all good say bathrooms are a downfall

Camped last year, everything was amazing. Booked a family reunion for this year, staff was exceptional until we got there. Can’t handle big groups, staff were extremely overwhelmed, there is not enough parking. Activities were cancelled without notice. When paying for site or cabin ask for a receipt. My son went to pay and was told it was all good, no receipt given. I went up asked for a receipt was told it was not paid, not sure what was going on there. It went from being paid to not being paid in a matter of minutes. Staff were unfriendly and unprofessional on the Saturday and Sunday. When booking a kitchen cabin ensure you get the amenities associated with cabin. If not included when you get there you will not get them. Extremely disappointed.

We had a great time here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. It was so great that we could bring our dogs with us so that we were able to go on a vacation. The only thing that we would've changed is that from our cabin we could see and hear Hwy 400. Other than that, everything was excellent!

Pretty good place to relax with family if you have rented the correct cottage. Super friendly staff who are willing to accommodate all requests from residents at all times. We forgot to take bed linen and they were kind enough to offer some of their own cleaned linen for us to use including blankets. I am sure the place is more vibrant if not for COVID-19. Will be visiting again next year.

I drove in today to check this place out. It has a big for sale sign out front and the big KOA sign is gone. Apparently it is closed.
