As a graduate of this school, I am warning you that this school will break you down in a way no other educational institute will. From the quality of education to your clinical experience, you will find it hard to say it was enjoyable. Your clinical experience will be the hardest, as you will have zero help in finding clients, and because your education was such low quality, you will be penalized by the clinical instructors while learning how to actually complete the assessment/forms in clinic. The clinic is out-dated, many units are broken, and the school is too cheap to upgrade the computers. There have been numerous occasions the computers have crashed during client assessments and all of your hard work will go to waste. You will regret ever stepping foot into this facility. There are a select few instructors that make your experience slightly more bearable, but most instructors are all on separate pages when it comes to clinical guidance, leaving you confused and lost when each instructor makes you complete forms/assessments according to their own standards. Overall, I wish I would have taken the 3 year route. This school does not care about the students in anyway possible. You are literally just viewed as another incoming cheque to them, but I guess that’s why the owners Boris and Lidia are multi-millionaires. They take as much as they can from you without offering next to nothing back. Fun Fact: There is a Toronto star article about how spectacular their mansion is. Just remember this fact when you’re in clinic using their 2007 Windows Vista constantly crashing, super slow software/computer and their broken dental chairs. I seriously wish all future students good luck, but more importantly I would advise to not even bother with this school if you value your mental health.

Question: where to report this school for what they are doing with their students? Canadian government must conduct an investigation. - Stay away from this college. They take you as an ATM machine, once you don't put out money , you are out in the next seconds. Front desk workers and the management team are the rudest and could be the most unprofessional people in an educational environment.

I went there to have my teeth cleaned. I was told it would take two sessions. In the first session, I had x-rays taken but no teeth cleaning. It took three hours. I had to pay for the x-rays and in advance for a teeth cleaning. The student forgot to give me a receipt and neglect to contact me for a follow up appointment. Next appointment - no teeth cleaning. Another x-ray and a dentist looking (again) at my teeth and gums. I was given a referral form. I was also told I would be emailed the x-rays, which I had paid for last session and contacted re an appointment. Neither of these occurred, and I texted the student who did not reply. I then spent half an hour on the phone with reception trying to get the x-rays sent to me . I was next told I was given the wrong form to sign for the x-rays and had to fill out yet another one, scan it, and return it. At that point, I decided I did not have confidence in proceeding with the cleaning and asked for a refund for the teeth cleaning I had never received. I was then told I had to fill out two more forms to be considered for a refund, and I may have to speak to yet another person to receive this. I was put on hold and told the receptionist was still looking for the forms. I was told they would be emailed to me. At this point, I am waiting. Do not - ever - use this service. You are scammed into multiple appointment for services provided by lazy incompetents. A follow up. I received the forms. I read the forms to request a refund, and before I could fill them out, I was told I had to submit and sign another form that stated the services were non-refundable. If this involved more money, I'd sue. Three weeks later, and I still have not received the x-rays I asked for. My new dentist called them and and they told me I had to fill and sign out the same transfer of records form I submitted several weeks ago. I sent it again and hopefully my dentist can receive them.

Worst hygiene school ever to be honest. If you were thinking of going to tcdha please reconsider. It’s so bad. I went through all the reviews and they aren’t lying. This place only cares about money, they lack empathy and don’t care at all for the well being of students. I know so many people go have gotten anxitey and depression from this program including myself. They are quick to fail you on anything and love taking peoples money

I hate this college, they are so cruel and make you feel cold all through the time in clinics and during exams you are not allowed to wear anything warm. You aren't allowed to wear any sweater and on top of it they will decrease the temperature. This is worst college they make every step difficult for you to get qualified. Some teachers are very nice but some are going so personal to you and they make sure you won't pass the clinical steps. No humanity at all, most of the administrative staff is rude. And some teachers are very rude. I had really bad experience with one teacher she shouted at me in front of my client and she insulted my client because she was slow in understanding english. She made me cry in front of my client and my client never came back. This school didn't even deserve one star.

Extremely unpleasant educational experience. The administration does not care about students at all. Student mental health is exploited and there are zero policies in place to help students during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are expected to show up no matter what. I know multiple students who have been forced to drop out due to the lack of support from admin staff. Similarly, at least a quarter of my classmates suffer from mental health issues as a result of the school's treatment of them. DO NOT GO HERE

I would like to advise all patients to do your research and due diligence. To the best of my knowledge this private college charges its students close to $50k for their fast tracked less than 2yrs education to becoming a dental hygenist. The students are required to find their own patients to do their lab time or they can't graduate. As a patient you will pay about $60 for the session which includes x-rays. It will take about four days of 6hr visits each day. The cleaning may or may not be to the level of an experienced dental hygienist at your local dental clinic, if there is more extensive dental work needed, you may be referred to a university level dental school. In conclusion, is your time worth the hassle to save a little money just to give it to these private schools that are exploitative? Apologies in advance if I've written anything that's not correct or isn't helpful to the poor patients and students caught in the middle of this trap.

The students here are excellent and provide great dental services! I know that the reviews are very negative here but Breanna was very upfront with me about the time engagement and the steps that the students need to take to complete the cleaning. She provided excellent, thorough examinations including X-rays and more, all for free! It is a major time commitment but the students are grateful for the patients and I was grateful for the discounted rate!
