I could not be happier with Top Knot!! Lisa and her team knew exactly how to bring to life my dream bridal hair. They were professional and personable and most importantly so good at what they do. Lisa even came to the venue to do a style change for me for the evening. Their passion for the job is incomparable.

Been seeing Meagan for 4 years now, and no one else is allowed to touch my hair but her. She always does a fantastic job, and she also did my wedding hair! She never cuts too much, and is meticulous! Will follow her wherever she goes.

I hired Top Knot for my bridal hair and makeup this past summer. At the last minute we added on the Parlour itself to get ready at. We went back and fourth on that decision and I am so happy we went with it. The Top Knot team is experienced and genuinely cares about you and your big day. They will go above and beyond to make sure everything goes exactly as you want. My hair and makeup lasted all day without any touch ups. the venue itself was amazing for photos and required no work on our part. It does not feel like a hair salon but rather just a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the morning getting ready with your bridal party. We had mimosas and food which added to the morning. I would highly recommend trusting Top Knot to be a part of your day.

There are not enough words to describe the women that run this fabulous salon. My favourites are … spa like, calming, zen, professional and chic. The moment you walk through those doors, you are immediately greeted with smiles that light up the room. Lisa, Chrissy and Megan are as close to perfection as it gets, and it shows as the combined experience in that salon is evident with a perfect colour and style EVERY. SINGLE. VISIT. I am confident in saying … this is the BEST salon in the city, hands down!

Top Knot Brides were able to step for hair and makeup services for my wedding somewhat last minute after Covid had us changing our plans for what felt like the millionth time. They were communicative and professional and also so much fun to be around! It’s obvious they know weddings; they did such an amazing job and captured my vision for hair and makeup while adding their own suggestions based on their experience. My bridesmaids couldn’t believe how well their hair and makeup lasted and neither could I. We took pictures in crazy wind and snow, and danced the night away, and everything held up all night long. Thank you so much Chrissy, Lisa and Stef!

We decided to use Top Knot Brides for our wedding hair and makeup services in 2019. The booking experience was streamline and Lisa was extremely responsive. I had my hair and makeup trial in 2019 and both Lisa and Shannon were extremely accommodating and lovely to work with. Unfortunately we had to delay our wedding repeatedly due to COVID and ended up with a date that did not work with Top Knot Brides. Out of the original deposit of over $1,200 we were offered a $592 credit in June of 2021 to be used at the Parlour. The trial was around $300 but there is a steep administration fee and taxes. Due to confusion with rebooking the wedding and attempting to offer the credit to a friend, we missed properly responding to Top Knot, and we were told in June 2022 that any credit was forfeited since we chose a date that did not work for Top Knot and did not properly sign the termination agreement, even though there was no indication that there is a deadline for signing the agreement. Upon inquiring about the termination agreement we received a very strongly worded email from Top Knot about not being "an interest free loan service nor a bank". We do not reside in Canada and probably would not have used the credit regardless, but it is disappointing that a company we relied on for service provided such a brash response just because of a misunderstanding. Overall I enjoyed my trial with Lisa and Shannon. But I would warn potential brides to read the fine print and the change of attitude was extremely disappointing as I believe it's unwarranted. **Edited after owner's response** I think it's unfair to write a condescending email accusing a customer for trying to take advantage of the business when I've been nothing but respectful in all my inquiries for clarification only. I was simply asking for more information, and at no point asked for loans or money so I'm not sure where that comment came from and why the attitude was required. It's unfortunate the business stands by their decision to be rude to a customer. They could have simply said no and not needed to make me feel terrible.

Top Knot was absolutely amazing to work with. I booked the Top Knot team for my wedding at the end of April, and it was such a fun experience. I had five other bridesmaids and my mom and mom in law use their services, and everyone felt and looked so beautiful. The ladies at Top Knot made sure that everyone was comfortable, having fun and felt incredible for the special day. The ladies travelled to our hotel in Calgary, worked efficiently, were incredibly professional, and just so fun to work with. I highly recommend Top Knot for any occasion. I will definitely be back!
