My family and I used Tommy Kertesz to sell our home in Cambridge a few months ago. Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. Tommy Kertesz stood out as the best KW-Region has to offer and I could tell he put a lot of work into his listings. We spoke with Tommy and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our house would be tough to sell for what we were hoping to get. Tommy made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like having a pro come and give us staging tips, having professional photographs taken, mapping out our property and completing a brand new floor plan due to our extensive renos. He even paid for a home inspection to give peace of mind to buyers. None of these things were demanded by us but he was adamant it would only help sell and get us the money we deserved. When we saw our listing we were blown away. He was punctual and quick to get everything going. His hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. Our house SOLD the first day on market. I had my first contact with Tommy back in December last year while looking for homes in KW region through Realtor.ca. He called me back immediately after I requested information about a listing through the app and provided me with a lot of useful information. But Tommy did not let us get discouraged and said if we needed to go to other cities, we would. And that is what we did. Tommy accepted the challenge and hit the road with us to go to Brantford, Woodstock and even London. He would always spend time going over the details about each home we were viewing, the construction, the pros and cons, and give us suggestions of improvements we could make.
