★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well-situated park, playground, skatepark, basketball court … right in the middle of Tofino. The atmosphere is quite relaxed with mostly families and skaters hanging out. The park is up on a hill so you can catch glimpses of the surrounding sea and the mountains of Vancouver Island in the distance.
The playground is especially nice for children up to around 8-10 years of age. Besides some swings, slides and climbing equipment there is a children‘s zipline.
There are public restrooms on site.
A large wooden monument of a crying First Nation‘s member really adds to the place.
