★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't been to Oliver in a long time. We had an errand to run and took the dogs with us. We stopped at Lion's Park to let them have a runaround. This is THE BEST dog park. Huge area, picnic tables, poo bags, water bucket and doggie height drinking fountain. There is a kids park right beside it and further down is a skate park. This is integration for the whole family and much appreciated. Way to go Oliver!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was closed ! I mean looks awesome .. planned for weeks (3 on trip from Edmonton) to get goodies from here and when I pulled up the pulled pork BBQ dude was outta meat !
Other wise I'm sure it would have been awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just visited the new dog park at the North End of Lion's Park for the first time yesterday and am quite impressed. It's a nice large Park, and good to see that there is also a separate area for small dogs. I understand that water will be going into the dog park soon. A few more tables or benches would be nice, especially for those of us who don't like to get run over by enthusiastic, happy dogs. It's a pity that the donated trees and shrubs aren't protected properly with the chicken wire cages. I doubt that they will last very long.
