★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's feels like family when you enter this authentic african products store. Mama T always greats all her customers as if they where her own children or grandchildren and the carries through into the culture of this little grocery/beauty product store.
She works hard to ensure that those who enjoy the Western African food & culture can experience its authenticity her in Calgary, Alberta.
What makes this store very unique is that Mama T is not simply selling african products because of then demand, but because she always had a passion for cooking & keeping her African heritage alive & strong.
Come by on a Sunday afternoon and you'll likely bump into many citizen from African decent and leave feeling better than when you came.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this place for the variety of African products but the customer service is horrible! The lady treats every question asked like a personal attack! As if the questions are beneath her!! It's just baffling! Twice I've been there and both times I've left feeling less then happy!! These people need to understand that they're catering to a very diverse Clientele! Just because I'm black or African does not mean I know about Nigerian or Ghanaian or indeed African products!! When I've inquired about a product I was interested in, I've been told "read the label" or "why are you buying it?" That's just rude!! Perhaps you have your dedicated clientele, good for you!! But I won't be coming back here!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for the very first time and I enjoyed the experience. The salesperson I met was very polite and helpful. The store has a wide variety of authentic African foods and other items...I even saw ludo games! I will definitely visit this store again.
