TJ Nails-Spa - Maple Ridge

First time visit, I brought a photo of nail inspiration (color block, 3 colors) and the nail technician did an outstanding job! My nails look beautiful! She was so careful and inspected my nails for perfection. My nails are natural in appearance and not bulky or thick like some places do. I will be back :)

It's a little bit pricey. But they are very nice and gentle when it comes to your nails.

My daughter and I went for mani pedi's. The two ladies that helped us were so sweet! We really enjoyed our time there. My daughter was so impressed with how well her halloween nails were done that she can't stop showing people! We definetly recommend.

I have been going to TJ Nails for 13 years and they have never failed to impress me! I've gone to a few other places in between those 13 years and I was always disappointed by them. The whole entire staff at TJ Nails have always been so nice and welcoming. They listen to what you really want and take their time making your nails or toes look exactly the way you want. :) Most recently, I had to book in 11 people for mani and pedis for my upcoming wedding and the receptionist, Sydney, was amazing!! She made such a wonderful detailed itinerary and was kind enough to text me it. Sydney went above and beyond and I couldn't have been more pleased. I have always recommend all my family and friends to TJ Nails and I will continue to!

I am appalled with the quality and service. Was denied a refund and wasted 4 hours in that salon today. Just don’t go. Picture of what I got vs. what I wanted.

First time going to TJ Nails it was recommended to me by a friend. Will definitely go back they did a great job, staff was friendly everything was virus proof got to bring the file and sand paper that they used home with me. Like this place.

If I could give a lower rating I would, if you’re planning on going here please don’t waste your time. I have been going here for awhile and had my nail tech who always did a good job, he was the younger guy. I got my nails done on Sunday and picked a pink nude colour, everything was fine and then later they started looking a different colour as you can see in the picture, it was completely different. So I called and they changed the colour for free, when they did that they filled them down way too much and they got super thin. I got home and one broke, I went and got it fixed, then another one broke and I also noticed the colour was changing again to a yellow colour, I was starting to get really mad. I had gone in 3 separate times and should have only had to go in once. I go in today to get the nail fixed and show them the colour again, doesn’t match the sample colour, so the older guy that works there proceeds to tell me that that’s the wrong colour and i’m lying, so I ask the girl who did them and she says it’s the right one, he also said I broke my nail myself, he continued to argue with me and was very very rude, I have had issues with him before. they would not give me a refund and treated me very badly as a customer. I will never be going there again and I suggest you don’t either.

On May 25 I made an appointment with TJ Nails for a full set of acrylics at 12:15. I was told over the phone that a full set can be around $60. I have been to this establishment before and gotten the same work done for roughly the same price. When I arrived on time, I was told to wash my hands and pick a color for my set, I had a style already chosen (first photo attached), and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for a nail technician to become available. The owner of the spa started to do my nails. I had shown him the photo and he led me under the impression that the set I wanted would be $60, and I was happy with that. I noticed something was wrong the second he started filing my nails, he was being very harsh and wasn't paying close attention to the shape I wanted at all, which was almond. I got a rhinestone on both my middle fingers on top of the nails I had shown him. When he was finally done after an hour and a half I realized how crooked my nails actually were. They were all a different shape, uneven, flooded around the cuticle, rough edges, lopsided, and looked very rushed. When it came time to pay the receptionist told me my set would be $73.50 for the "design, and set" I had chosen. What design? My nails are half painted with four colors, that seems like less effort than fully colored nails. I was frustrated that I was lied to about the price of my nails, especially for the way they had turned out. When I tried to reason with the receptionist in a quiet and calm manner she cut me off rather rudely and proceeded to ask how I was paying, she wasn't bothered about my concerns. I paid and left very unhappy. Later in the day I called back the salon and the owner told me "you were happy with the set and I have been doing this for 15 years, I don't give out free nails but I can fix a couple of them that are uneven". I was really upset because it seemed as though none of the staff was really listening to me at all. Four days after I had gotten my nails done, both gemstones on my nails had fallen off in the shower because of the poor quality in which they were secured onto my nails. The edges of the acrylics keep coming off in small chunks because they weren't created properly. Please, don't waste your money at this establishment, they don't care for their costumers and I am left feeling like I have been deceived and embarrassed, I will not be going back.
