★ ★ ★ ★ ★ S&T Tire. Best shop in the area with the best and most honest service (IMO). If they say something is wrong, its because something is wrong(worn out or broken). They are also one of the only shops in town who will work on a carborated vehicle. They know their stuff.

I purchased 4 new tires from tirecraft Trail and I had nothing but problems with the tires, after taking it to 3 other tire shops and saying it was the tire, I found that 1 tire was defective asking for 14 ounces to balance the tire, all I got from the owner was that there was nothing wrong with the tire and it was the rims. I called the shop telling them that i wanted a new tire and for the owner to call me back and of course no call back, finally I had to email the tirecraft head office. and the reply that I got from tirecraft Trail was that my new tire has been waiting for me for months????? so after all this Tirecraft Trail knowingly put a faulty tire on my truck and tried to cover it up. this took me 10 months and $200.00 to get a new tire. put the new tire on and it balanced . Beware of doing Business with tirecraft in trail. the owner does not stand behind what it says on there website. not impressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't trust them with anything more than tire repair and mounting. The mechanics are incompitant and the owner doesn't care. Went in for an alignment and came out with a $200 bill and bearings adjusted so tight that I could barely spin the wheels. I have been building my own cars for 35
years and this is the reason why I don't trust others to work on my vehicles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During this testing time I decided to give my local Trail tire shop my business. I could have gone to Toyota in Castlegar but i decided to keep things local. I Needed back break pads done. I had my own break pads given to me as a gift. Gentleman on the phone made the booking and was then interrupted. The phone was then taken over by a bloke who told me that he did not need my business when I supply the pads.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude guy at the service desk. It wasn't very busy there (I'm not wondering why). I left that place and went to Castlegar muffler and got my tires installed and balanced; they were great. Will be going there from now on. With an attitude like S&T Tire, I'm glad I didn't leave my car there. I think I'll read the reviews before shopping at businesses from now on. I noticed that S&T uses friends and family to build their positive reviews; be careful of that. When you see bad reviews with no response, you know there's something wrong with the business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unprofessional. Their mechanic didn’t know what he was doing. Brought our vehicle in for a problem. After almost $2000 we picked it up and the problem was still there. They wanted another $800 to fix the original problem. And while working on the vehicle they pinched the brake lines. We had to get someone else to fix it as we didn’t want them touching our vehicle. Don’t bring your vehicles there. They overcharge and aren’t knowledgeable about vehicles
