Tiny One Cafe was a disappointment. I would rather go to Boiling Point and have my single serving hot pot that actually tastes good than go here. I ordered the Miso version thinking it would be safe but alas it tasted nothing like miso. The portion is small for the price it offers. The plating is nice I guess but I'd rather my food taste good. It does come with a drink, some veggies, a noodle and simple dessert for about $17-$20? My friend ordered the tomato one and it was heavy on the tomato flavour and felt like he was dipping in pasta sauce. My mom ordered the special beef and it was mediocre. The seats were stained but the ambiance was nice. I would not recommend. Go to Boiling Point instead.

I thought this place was super cute. Everything I ordered was great for both appearance and taste. It's like a fun casual lunch experience.

Good value (for girls) and no wait in the afternoon. Ginger milk was a so good winter drink. Have not tired their bubble tea yet. My pork pot was nice. Friends also like fish pot. Not recommend spicy pot and tomato beef oxtail pot. Does not come with a large size but enough for me.

Got there around 9pm on a Wednesday night, so there was absolutely nobody else there. We had the Mango coconut milk tea, strawberry milk tea, and taro milk tea. We also ordered chicken nuggets and a couple of the minced pork on rice. WHY WAS THIS OUR FIRST TIME HERE??? Everyone liked their drinks, but LOVED their food. It didn't have the cheap, oily taste you get all too commonly in other Richmond restaurants. It tasted like quality ingredients were used to thoughtfully create some good eats. The price is fair. Especially considering the nice ambiance. Everyone in our group agreed Tiny One was a winner and a new go-to spot for us in Richmond.

Went there before and it had hot pot. Went again today and the entire menu was changed to a different genre and type of food but none of the information on the outside is changed. Asked the waitress and she said they are going to change the menu again. Make up your mind or stop putting misleading information up

I was concerned at first because of the reviews but I will chalk them up to the place being new and having growing pains. We did wait to be seated but only because it was busy (waited approx 30 minutes) for a seat. Service was quick, food was on the table within 20 mins of ordering. The portions are decent and will leave you feeling satisfied but not bloated. The only complaint was that they messed up the bill at the end with two other customers. Make sure you check your bill and that it's accurate. They were really polite and quickly fixed the mistake. We had the vegetable pot and the spicy chicken pot that were quite good! Will be back again ☺️ Debt cards are accepted!

Visited when they first opened and decided to give them a second try. Spicy chicken had more bones than chicken with Chinese lao gan ma. Mango milk drink was legit milk and minimal mango for $8. Rice looked like baby food mixed with mushrooms. Really no improvement from the beginning. Disappointed.

Came here for the first time. I bought a deal through Fantuan app. Two ppl combo original price $63, I bought it for $33. The combo came with individual hotpot, two appetizers and a drink. The hotpot selection had more spicy options than non spicy so we chose the chicken fish maw soup base. We get to choose additional meat as well. The two appetizers were spicy pork ear and seaweed knots. The drinks were literally just milk with mango/strawberry. We came here at 11:15am just right after they open. It was too early so we had the restaurant to ourselves. Every table had a call button so I liked not having to wave down at the server (when he was mostly out of sight in the back) the chicken leg and thigh were too tough to eat, probably boiled for too long. It came with quite alot of veggies. We had leftovers to take home. Imo, I would only come here with a deal, I would not pay $63+ tips for what I got.
