Very clean didn't smell like smoke walking in or have an "old" smell friendly staff nice rooms

Grandma was not looked after properly.

I feel safe here - day & night. Have many new great friends & have continued to live independently

Seems like a nice supportive living facility. It is well built and an all around a nice building. It is someplace where you would feel safe having a loved one stay.

Very well organized and newest technologies....Good place for residents and the staff are enthusiastic and friendly...The building is so clean and new. Easy to find places... recommended for loved ones...had a great experiences from there. Lots of parking spots and overall calm and relaxing environment. There is bus route also very closer and helpful.

Building is nice but all staff speak their native language because they don’t hire Canadian staff! Manager tries to speak English that is not understandable. I went to visit my friend’s granny and staff was talking in their own language at front of residents! All the good reviews here by their own staff members lol!

Since mom moved in December 18th 2017 have seen first hand the care given..it is better than we could have hoped. The staff truly treat you like family. Top notch facility, beautiful surroundings, and best of all, fantastic staff in all departments. I began this review a little over 4 years ago. Mom was cared for lovingly by this wonderful group of people who work at Timberstone Mews right up to April 28th, 2022 when she passed away. She loved her home, and the friends she made there. We as her family were extremely grateful for the care she got throughout over her more than 4 year stay. She loved the people and they loved her. We saw with our own eyes how thoughtful they were. Even during Covid-19 protocols which certainly made things more complicated they did their best. We want to express our deep heartfelt gratitude to all. The family of Rie de Vos.

The best nursing home I have ever seen in Alberta Very friendly staff, top chef, nurses, full care services you still have a private room all wheel chair assessable including bathroom and shower. Room includes Mini fridge, microwave, wall mounted tv, small kitchen counter and sink, nice size window for sunlight, a cabinet to hang your clothes with two drawers inside. We were also able to fit her dresser, China cabinet with out the glass doors for safety reasons, 2 end tables, one lazy boy chair that lifts you out of the chair, two chairs for visitors, two lamps, one tall and a bedside lamp, a large stereo on other nice size end table of hers, and plenty of room to hang pictures, the only thing she had to purchase was a hospital bed. They have a nice area to eat, were cereal, coffee, teas and other items available 24/7, also for every meal you can choose from two options the chef will be making that day. There is a fitness room, another room that can also be rented for family get togethers for seating, meals and an entertainment room to watch movies or tv with comfortable seating in spacious room for all. Throughout the place is many quiet and cozy places to sit comfortably by a fireplace either alone or with guests, and much more. Security is top notch. My mother in law can also choose a Bath instead of a shower, the bath is a jet tub that one-side completely opens to be able to walk in or lifted in with a nice houst. The entire room is large for one person only and looks like a spa. They have a hair salon on site that you pay for yourself, and much more. I call it a 5 star resort it is so nice, the fact that they leave enough room in the full care unit for personal items and furniture is a big deal, as my mother in law went from 5 months at the hospital to this nursing home, the fact that we could set it up with so much of her own stuff when we moved her stuff from her house to a storage unit while waiting for a place to open up for her, she was so relieved when they moved her in from the hospital with so much of her stuff there she felt at home, and at her age that's a really big deal because they have lost part of their independence, to have a private apartment like space with most of your own stuff gives some of that independent feeling back to her. I cannot say enough good things about the place. It's a new building in a new area of Red Deer and so far a quiet area as well and apartments seem to have good walls so you can have your quiet which is important to most Seniors to be able to get there rest. They also wear an alert if they need it which call's the nurse on shift that works there. I hope to take some pictures of her apartment there soon as her floor is the only one in the introductory information on line that doesn't show the layout or pictures of the room. It is quite expensive there but my mother in law who was on aish and now old age retirement was able to get subsidized and given a monthly salary from it, it's not much as it pays for her medicine and action bus to take her places, but she knows we will help her with whatever else she needs if she cannot afford it.
