Larry took the time to explain the reasons for the cracking (years of the house settling), the processes used to repair, and the best way to care for the tile and new grout. He mentioned that he could not only repair the grout but offered to change the colour as well. We had no idea that this was even possible. Larry is a true professional who takes great pride in his work, and he is not satisfied if the work is not up to his very high standards. Because of this, additional time (several hours and a return trip to the house) was required to complete our project to his satisfaction BUT no additional charges or fees were added to the original quote. The shower looks better now than the day it was originally done. Larry is a diligent, dedicated and honest craftsman…we could not recommend him more highly for this type of work.

I wanted to give it a few months to see if things held up before writing a review. And It held up. My shower still looks great. They were really up transparent and responsive. I am VERY happy with their work. I recommend them. If you're looking to list your place, this would be a "must do"
L	Lor Turn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hired Tile Alive to clean and add grout and caulking in my upstairs bathroom, as well as to clean the grout on the porcelain tiles in the bathroom. Well, you would have thought he installed a whole new floor! My daughter came over a couple days later and asked me if I got new tiles installed in my shower. I had no idea that you choose your grout colour, so I trusted him to choose what he thought would look good but expressed that I did not want black (just in case). He chose perfectly and my tiles look great. The caulking job is excellent, he caulked wherever needed around and in the tub, at the base of the tub, along the edges of my porcelain tile floor to the baseboards, around my toilet and even added caulking that I had asked for where my vanity counter meets the wall. I think my bathroom looks much better than when I first moved in. He was so meticulous about his work, and spent all the time he needed to complete the job. I will be hiring them again in the future to clean my porcelain tiles and grout in my front hallways, kitchen and powder room.

The shower area was cleaned, the old caulking removed/ replaced, grout re-coloured and sealed. It looks like new. Larry brought many grout colour options but made a special trip to pick up another. It matches perfectly with the rest of the bathroom. They explained the process and options, did amazing work, left the work area tidy and gave tips for future cleaning to maintain the look. We thought we may need to replace the tiles originally. This solution was more economical and less wasteful. I would definitely recommend this service to others.

I was expecting a live person to confirm the visit. The service technician showed up a few hours before our time but I was home and it all worked out. He was polite and professional, and took the time to provide additional advice about cleaning and grout issues. After two hours our marble floors now look perfect! I’m very happy with the result. Pricing is reasonable—$250 for tile polishing in a medium sized bathroom (42 sq ft).
