★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have authentic Kerala snacks such as murukku, banana chips, jackfruit chips, sharkkara varatti... The list goes on. One of the very few places that you can get Idayam nallenna and curry leaves. They have putu podi, appam podi and the like, pickles - spicy ones and brined ones, shallots, frozen fish etc. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday they have homemade snacks like ladoo, samosa, egg puffs and delicious chicken biryani as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first east and west Indian store I visited in Edmonton.
They had everything my family had wanted, from lentils to brown boiled rice.
Since I been staying earlier in Toronto, it was a natural comparison with similar stores I have visited there. Have to say options were less, but at the same time, 1000 spices did have all things!
Another aspect was, the price of things which were available in big retailers like Walmart were higher here. For instance, Pillsbury Atta (wheat flour) was priced here at $14 odd dollars while Walmart Supercenter had the same product for $11 odd. (Jan 30, 2021)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best grocery store to get the Kerala stuffs. Most of the grocery items like masala powders, rice, kerala household utensils, along with fresh vegetables are found jn the store.
The employee also told that they also do hole delivery to different provinces by canada post.
Was very friendly.
The store is small but enough for getting most of the kerala/south indian stuffs.
