Thorsby Stockyards Inc is a progressive new company with history dating back to Thorsby Auction Mart Ltd founded in 1961. Situated in Central Alberta 25 minutes west of the QE II it is ideally located to serve cattle producers in central and northern Alberta as well as throughout British Columbia.
The market has undergone major renovations including a new state of the art ring scale, the latest auction software, upgrades to the cafeteria and offices and an expanded yard including ample feed and water pens.
TSI is independently owned and operated by Jeff Fritz, Chance Martin and Corey Lawrence. Together they have years of combined experience in livestock marketing and auctioneering. Their goal is to provide an independent competitive marketing options for livestock producers.

Every Monday Regular Cattle Auctions start at 9:00 am, featuring all classes of cattle. Special feeder, bred cow will be added throughout the year. In addition to ring sales, TSI also markets cattle on the TEAM internet auction and Canada Live Video Auction.
