★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve stayed here twice and will be staying here on my next visit as well. Quick friendly service and nice rooms, with the upper rooms having nice views. The apartment unit was great and had all the tools that we needed to make for a great family vacation in the most beautiful part of the country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful brand new rooms, a lot of thought went into them. Was surprised to find a well appointed breakfast kitchenette in the room. Great price considering the high season/weekend crowds, and the staff is very friendly. Would definitely go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very pleased with my stay there. The room was updated, clean, and the staff was very friendly and polite. Being centrally located allowed us to walk easily to everywhere in town. All in all, a great, reasonably priced, pet friendly place that I would definitely stay at again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I quite liked the Thornton motel. Nice large feeling clean rooms with microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and dishes and sink, also has a couch with table and chairs. Great prices as well, I'd definitely stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely overpriced. 100CAD off season?! The walls in that place might as well not exist. It was loud and we heard every conversation/party around us and could barely sleep. Bathroom wasn't 100% clean either (hair and dust from previous guests).
And the 15 CAD cleaning fee in case you forget to clean the coffee machine is an audacity on top of this.
Won't ever stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room is big and very nice kitchenette, bed is nice and comftable and there is parking near the rooms. Walking distance from cafes and restaurants. They are dog friendly- with a fee of 25$. The reason for the 4 stars is that they didn't clean the room/ replaced garbege cans at the entire time of our stay (3 nights), and the windows didn't open. but still i would defenetly stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were in town for 3 nights for an ocean fishing trip. We booked a kitchenette suite with a hide-a-bed couch.
The suite was very clean and the staff were lovely. We needed an extra quilt for the hide-a-bed and an extra bath towel and they were at our door in one minute with both.
The kitchenette included a microwave, mini-fridge, kettle and coffee maker. There was a sink and dishes as well.
The beds were clean and the bathroom was spotless. My only concern was the floors. I don't think they had been swept the floors and mopped them in quite a while. Every time I got out of the shower and walked to the bed to put my socks on, my feet were black with dust.
My only suggestion for them would be the addition of a deep freezer in the suites. I would imagine that the majority of people visiting Ucluelet for the outdoor recreation and fishing. It would have been amazing to have a place to store our catch.
Otherwise, everything else was awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Priced right. Clean and new. My unit could use a hot plate or a stove. There was some noise from the above unit. Bed was comfortable and the staff was very professional.Very quiet neighborhood. I will stay here again.
