★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased my first Stihl powertool from them last year, and I never regretted it. Mr. Engelsman assembled an excellent package deal for me and sent me off to be a gentleman forester. Well, it's been a year and Thornhill Lawn Equipment continues to keep me as a satisfied customer. I learned the hard way what happens with high-performance saws and operating them with loose bar chains. I wiped out 2 chains in short order (spent ~4h trying to file out the burrs on the drive links without success). At least Aaron sold me 2 more chains (and knocked 50% off one of them). BTW - they can order biodegradable bar oil for those of us who prefer using it. Yes, consider giving them your business!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many years ago, after using two Briggs and Stratton light lawn mowers for decades and would like to try out the Honda's take. It was double the price to own one with auto-choke, no priming push button. Since the known convenience and benefit of Google Maps Reviews rating not yet familiar with, got one at a dealer near Kennedy. Actually the first vendor come to mind was Thornhill which was close to North York. But that is nestled in the Bayview and mind it a premium might be charged for the price of gears and service. After two year of using the Honda, it failed to start up in spring. Advice and service at the Kennedy shop was not welcome. Then gone to Thornhill for advice. The previous encounter was not mentioned. Technician suggested the filter in the fuel cap may be clogged and need replacement. It has been a Honda common flaw. A stop gap measure might be loose tightening the cap to test out. Fresh premium fuel was another alternative to test out. He even gave a tiny pack of additive to freshen/reinvigorate the stored gasoline after draining the old one in the mower first to try out. It proved the loose fitting of the fuel cap helping. Recently, browse through the Google Maps Reviews of various vendors past traversed about and find them intriguing. There happened to have some negatives at Thornhill Lawn. Experience tells that when serving personnel's talent, skill, honesty, credibility, business profit, client's state of mind play out in the experience. Wish this establishment hold on their built-up reputation and prosper!

I have to say that after calling around to various shops, it was such a refreshing customer service experience dealing with Eric and team at Thornhill Lawn Equipment. Aaron and Eric are extremely friendly and 'real'! They are so down-to-earth it was a wonderful experience working with them. There were no issues with taking the time to answer my questions, they are organized, and the entire transaction went very smoothly. It was a pleasure to do business with you and I am happy to have found this gem of a shop in a my neighbourhood!
