It's a cool place to hike on a hot summer day !

Beautiful trailhead hidden away in the busy city. The trees turn amber in late october and the forest turns golden. Saw a very healthy deer as well.

Beautiful trails in dense forest, right in the middle of the city. The trails are a bit narrow, and are also shared by bikes, so bit careful. A bonus: abandoned railway track.

This is one of my favourite trails to go through in Toronto. It's easily accessible by transit, but once you're in the woods, you quickly forget the city. There are a couple of beautiful spots to sit and relax. There is also an area with several slopes to have some fun on your bike as well. Just pay attention for cyclists and understand that we're all sharing the trail. They go pretty fast here but they also generally try to slow down for people walking. There are parts of the trail that is just barely wide enough for one person.

This place is awesome for mtn biking. Not safe for ppl walking or with little kids . Very steep and rocky. Took off one star for the dog people leaving poo behind. Not cool dog ppl.

Great trails for not too fit people to enjoy some time outdoors in nature. A lot of people mentioned this but there are many mountain bikes that share the trails, so do be mindful of that and you won’t have any surprises! There was quite a bit of fungi growing along the trail when we visited in mid-October, which was interesting to see and not pick. If I was more knowledgeable, maybe I’d choose to come here to forage!

It is a nice place to walk with your dog or go in your mountain bike.

Great mountain bike trail in the city. Often very busy with cyclists. Not the best for walking with dogs, it’s not an off leash park and it is a designated mountain bike trail. The two are not particularly compatible activities. Don’t go if it has rained a lot, the city closes the trail when it’s really wet because the trail is mostly clay and becomes extremely slippery and potentially dangerous.
