Love this little oasis in the middle of the city. Perfect for cycling, running, or walking you'll frequently see wildlife like rabbits, ducks, birds, groundhogs. The plethora of graffiti along the overpasses or cement barriers is also cool to see and watch change with the seasons. It's a very unique spot sandwiched between train tracks, a river, and a highway so it doesn't always smell the best, but it's an important conservation space.

Lower Don parklands is partly located at Crothers Woods.. a very nice, welcoming part of the valley, all green in the Spring and Summer seasons and turns to a majestic display of amazing colours in the Fall. Come visit.

The Lower Don Parklands has a paved trail running through it where people can walk, run or ride their bicycles through. It's very scenic with many places to stop along the Don River.

Beautiful walks through nature, started at either end of the trail and the lower donlands is the more paved option for walking. Great trails to ride bikes, walk the dogs or go on a little stroll. A little muddy in early March but otherwise a good hiking path to get out of the house for the day!

Scenic trail with beautiful river view. Best for biking and walking, lots of places to stop on the way and enjoy the natural beauty and greenery. I did bike on this trail with my son twice and we enjoyed a lot. It was fun filled day with lots of exploration. We started our trail journey from ET seton park , which is located near Thorncliffe Park Drive and went all the way down towards the lake Ontario. We ended at cherry street trail point which then connect this trail to east and west. It was amazing experience, scenic views, don river on one side, greenery, wildlife and lots more. Highly recommend for biking and walking lovers.

Perfect day for a walk around the trails. Minus 7 and sunshine today. This area is amazing and parking free on Beechwood at the very bottom under the Don Valley Parkway. Endless areas to walk, bike, even mountain bikes in the area. Great for families, children and furry kids. Trails are plenty wide enough to social distance and really not that many people can be seen as the trails are off in many different directions. You can travel north or south, towards the Brick Works or away from that area. You can cross the Don River over a foot pedestrian bridge and or walk along the small water side trails.

Scenic trail that connects Edwards Gardens to Thorncliffe Park, Evergreen Brickworks, Victoria Park, and downtown. You can catch rabbits and deer along this trail that runs parallel to the Don River. It is mostly wooded with patches of grass space and some seating along the riverbed. Repaving is overdue on many points along the trail, particularly near Riverdale Park.

Beautiful trail with a nice view of the Don River that runs alongside it. Bridges are installed with colourful RGB lights which makes for quite the view after dark. Cyclists, prepare for some uphill climbs, and pedestrians must be careful at the bottom of the hills.
