Founded back in 2007, the Thirsty Lion Tavern has been proudly serving the Charleswood community for over 10 years! We owe the enormous success we have had so far, to our unique atmosphere, amazing community, and our outstanding team.
We now have a second location in West St.Paul!
We offer an extensive selection of beers on tap, from dark rich stouts, pale ales, and frothy lagers, as well as a huge selection of premium spirits and liqueurs to choose from. Whether you’re wanting to cool down in the summer with a frozen peach Bellini or warm up in the winter with an Irish coffee, we have something for everyone! It’s all served up in our friendly Pub atmosphere where you can enjoy a cocktail on the patio, grab a pint and play a game of pool at one of our tables, or relax and catch up with friends. There are always sports on our many HD flat screen TV’s, whether its hockey, football, soccer, NBA, baseball or any other event we will be showing it!

Loved the burgers and fries while my grandma enjoyed the ribs.
Will make it a monthly stop for me and my grandma.
Also helps that there are vlcs for my grandma to play on while we wait for our food.
Great staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had the Sunday special. The Bubba Burger platter. Simply amazing. it's only 10$ on Sunday, seriously one of the best cheeseburgers I've had, can't say enough good about it. The bun was fresh and soft, patties were big and clearly made with quality ingredients. The fries were just like having grandma's homemade fries. Wonderful. Jenai was my server. she is always fantastic. Quick, attentive, very personable and never let my drink go empty. I always come back here and the reasons are clearly stated. Love it!
