great place to go if you want anything engraved. Good quality and we were able to walk through the mall and pick up our order an hour or so later.

I bought a glass table clock for my boyfriend for Christmas. I also had it engraved ($1.00 per letter). I had to return it three times because the clock wouldn't work. Finally, they got it working in the store, but by the time my boyfriend opened it on Christmas, which was only the next day from my last visit to the Store, the clock was again not working. The staff was very nice, and did try to help, but the products are not made well. I will never, ever buy another gift from the store. I paid enough money for the gift and I am still very unhappy about this situation.

Small but efficient store. Located inside the Quinte Mall, near Booster Juice and Winners, Things Engraved is just what it sounds like. It's recently been refurbished and now has a much more modern feel. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will be back

I bought my dad a watch for Christmas, and took it in to have "It's 6am..." engraved on the back (it came from the text on an old sweatshirt of mine when I was a kid; a dad doing-up his son's hockey skates as the son has dozed-off prior to a hockey practice/game. The text says "It's 6am, and dad's always there." Well, sure enough, I explain this to the lady doing the engraving, mention how it's a reference with a lot of sentimental value, and when I come back for the watch? "6am" That's it; "6am" smack-center of the back of the watch. "Oh, I can fix that for you," the woman says, but tells me that it will have to wait until the morning because of an order that's just come in. Let me say a couple of things as a guy who's working in customer service jobs for the last ten years: 1. If you make a mistake, you correct it immediately. The order that came in earlier takes precedent over those that followed. This was not a request for additional work to be done; it was a demand for the correction of a mistake made when provided with clear, written instructions - the mistake should never have happened. 2. When you are doing work of a very sentimental nature, as was explained during the work order; you need to get it right. I may not have purchased the watches from your store, but that doesn't change the importance of the accuracy of your work. 3. When you make a mistake like this, and you're offering to "correct it," may I suggest that you offer some degree of compensation? You have made a permanent alteration to an item, meaning that it cannot be returned. You were informed of the sentimental value and financial cost of the item, and yet you made a lazy, and careless error in your work. I have a right mind to leave you the watch, and demand that it be replaced, and the work completed. I have no problem being charged for the work in advance; there is an understanding that you will, as I have in paying you, hold-up your end of the contract. This does not appear to be the case. If it was not apparent, no offer of compensation was made to me for work being done that was not as-ordered. At this time, I do not foresee coming to this Things Engraved location again. To screw up a sentimental gift when the instructions were there, in writing, then tell the customer that the correction for your mistake would need to wait until the next day because of an order that had only just come in, and, on top of this, to not offer some form of compensation for having made the mistake? Three strikes; you're out. I now have the option of telling my father that there's been a mistake with his gift at your hands when I see him at our Christmas brunch tomorrow morning, or telling him some made-up story about how it just didn't ship in time; which makes me seem careless, but may save the way he views the watch, itself. Thanks, "Things Engraved." At least your name isn't "Things Engraved, Accurately."

Wow. I'd read the bad reviews but thought I'd give them a chance as hours are good. They were utterly unenthusiastic to deal with and then quoted me an outrageous price. Everything has to be paid up front, no credit cards even accepted over phone. Decided to take it somewhere else.... They literally charged 10 times less than this place ($140 vs $15!!!!). Wow. Believe the bad reviews people....

No prices listed should give you an idea of how this store is run. I didn't realize that it costs $1 per letter/number engraved. On top of that the lady asked if we would like a heart in place of the 'O' in Love, sure, but failed to tell us this heart would cost $4 on each ornament- People if you want to buy something there do yourself a favor and don't. I do not respect this kind of business that upsells and doesn't mention the cost factor- very poor business and I will not be going to this store again. I should have cancelled the order when quoted the price, but I didn't and that was my mistake- I will not make that mistake again!

Jessi was the most professional, most kind employee I have met in this store. She was highly educated, very patient and such a pleasant person. I enjoyed the service, and enjoyed my products. Thank you very much Jessi I will definitely be back!

Great Online Ordering Experience!! I had to order a last-minute gift for Christmas - a cardholder/money clip with some engraving on it. I placed the order on Dec. 18 in the afternoon, payed for the expedited shipping and crossed my fingers that it would make it in time for Christmas. Low and behold it was at my door early afternoon on the 20th. (I live in Trenton by the way and it came from Kitchener!) The product itself is great quality and has a very strong magnet to hold quite a few bills in it without worry. I'm very pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend this place to friends. Thank you!
