★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Remember, this is a municipal campground so the phone is not manned 24 hours a day. Don't let leaving a message put you off. It is one of Ontario,s hidden gems. The staff are very busy people but they all do a wonderful job. Lake view is perfect and the neighbours are excellent. Some sites require a bit of work getting into for big rigs. Less than 32 foot trailers are easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think it all depends on the type of camping you plan on doing...if you're a weekend warrior looking for a bit of nature while having a clean and well run campsite, perfect park. But if you're a little more refined and require 30 or 50 amp service for a weekend here or there, this may not be your ideal park. Only seasonal sites have that service. The staff are friendly and the facilities are clean. Small beach across the road with restaurants, hardware store and grocery store close by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good vibes all around, great sense of community , has shower and wifi. Nice lakefront view in a quiet little town. It has gotten a lot quiter since greyhound stopped operating on this route.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Water warm. Sunset beautiful. Not crowded. While wading out, portions with rocky bottom closer to shore but gets sandy when out a bit. Definitely will return. Thessalon has a quaint small town atmosphere.
