My daughter and I had a get away for 3 nights. We stayed in site 66. This campground is wonderful from check-in to getting wood delivered. The walks down by the river were great, huge firepits, level sites. Awesome play ground for children. I left a few painted gift rocks for my neighbours. I will be back next year for sure. Wonderful place to camp! Whether you're by yourself or have a family & kids. There's a park for the children and it's right next to the river for easy access. Theres also a children's fishing pond just down the road from the campground. They have a store at the office and a shower house with laundry. Showers are very clean and warm, the laundry works well and the dryers only take one cycle to actually dry the clothes.

Nice clean campground, bathrooms, showers very clean, When I booked I thought it would be more tenting than RV if you have a good group of people it’s fun but not too many tents just RV. Customer service wasn’t really friendly. Campgrounds usually charge per site but since we were three families we all got charged per tent for the money we spent it’s better to go to provincial park. Showers had no soap I asked the gift store if they sell a bar of Soap and the lady just said NO!! No direction as oh ya go here you’ll find it. I wouldn’t come back here

I stayed the weekend in one of the tent sites. Never have I experienced not only a well seculded and scenic area, but a very large area. I was in shock when I first arrived here. I thought this was the group site for one could pitch 10 tents here comfortably! The North Saskatchewan River was 10 metres from our site so we set up the chairs on the riverbank and enjoyed the day. Other positives: - clean, well-maintained washrooms and showers - 2 waste stations on-site. - quiet hours adhered to - very family friendly - seasonal camping I have been very reluctant to post this because I wanted to keep this hidden gem a secret so I could have it to myself for future dates. However this is a family-run campground and it's important to help out all family run businesses in this province.

Beautiful campground, friendly owners, and great facilities. The bathrooms were super clean, there were two parks for the kids and we loved going for walks around the campground and down by the river. Will definitely go back.

This place is great. Worth a drive to camp at for sure. The main bathrooms have showers and they are kept very clean. The grounds are very well maintained, the office is surrounded by beautiful flowers, the owners and staff are very nice... Great experience. Much better than the average campground.

This is a very nice, well developed campground just outside of Rocky Mountain House AB. There is a great variety of sites for everything from tents to 75’ Big Rigs. There is a cluster of well developed and maintained sites near to the Main Office. However, there is also a large area of sites out behind the Main Office, which are more open and spacious. These sites offer better access to the River and the trails along it. The sites were level gravel, with adjacent grass, a picnic table and fire ring. We found the 50 Amp power to be very steady and reliable.

This is a nicely laid out park, but it in no way felt friendly from our experience. Lots of signs telling you what you cannot do, including a bizzare number stating that all drugs, including prescription, are not allowed in the park? Assume they are aiming at legal cannabis users but as read it means I can't take my BP medicine? Did not apply to smokers or drinkers though. Our stay was ok, but we would opt for a more friendly park next time. To each their own, but you simply do not have the right to tell people which legal things they are allowed to do. If so, I would ask them to include cigarettes & alcohol as they have no problem with these.
