M	Mike Hoenmans on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m tired of people trashing his place because they have issues that have nothing to do with the service and the amenities. This club is amazing. They are probably one of the best resorts I’ve ever been to the terms of service, accommodations and dining experience. It’s interesting that people who have never been there, see fit to be negatve because of their own personal misguided beliefs. Trust me, we have been up to this lodge for over 12 years. Some of my fishing buddies have been up there for over 15. We have always had outstanding cuisine and top notch customer service. The lodge is beautiful. Nothing like the helicopter landing a few steps away and being welcomed by the staff. We were up this year during the limited time it was open. Their Covid protocols were exceptional. Safety was top of mind. Understand that Langara is a separate island...not connected in any way to the main island. They took all necessary precautions to ensure that all guests and staff were protected. I am certainly looking forward to next year!

From the moment of my arrival to the moment of departure every aspect of the trip was fantastic. I found the food to be of excellent quality. The service by the dining staff was attentive but not obtrusive. The rooms were comfortable and clean! The other areas of the hotel that we enjoyed in particular the pool table room were also well kept and clean. The fishing was beyond anything that I have previously experienced. The equipment was of top quality. The care of the once caught fish was done in a professional manner. The two guides that I shared this experience were clearly experts in their field and they did deliver lots of action. At times it was non stop. I would recommend the West Coast Sport Fishing Club to anyone that wants a high quality fishing experience, awesome food and great memories that will last a life time. I will definitely be back. G	Gary Hayden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have fished at The West Coast Fishing Club for more than 25 years. I believe it is the best salmon fishing lodge in the world. It starts at the top with the staff that helps you with your reservations and details that make your trip run smoothly. The logistics that get you there and back with your fish properly handled are fantastic. The lodge itself is like staying in a four star hotel. Food is over the top with great chefs and staff that handles your every need. The guides they have brought together are most talented I have ever fished with. The center console fleet of Boston Whalers are very easy to fish out of and are very comfortable. Missing my 3 annual trips last year was very hard to take. It wasn’t just missing fishing but not seeing all the friends I have met over the years. I can’t wait to hug the staff greeter when I arrive next year.
M	Max Zedler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The West Coast Fishing Club is a first-class operation with attentive staff, excellent food and accommodation AND you get to fish in a beautiful setting with experienced guides. I have been fortunate to attend the Clubhouse many times and this year the experience was excellent as usual. WCFC followed all the mandated government COVID-19 regulations to ensure our safety and those of the Haida Nation. Rather than fly in from Masset, our flight was direct from Prince Rupert to the lodge (which has no road access and is not anywhere near to any Haida community) so it was unfortunate that they were shut down part way through the season. Another excellent experience. Thank-you!

The weather is nasty (typical to the west side of Haida Gwaii) but also had its quality moments. Fishing was outstanding, our guide; Derek; was awesome. The food was incredible, would order any dish again at a restaurant and the lamb ragu is in my top 10; lifetime; of things I've eaten. If you're looking for a great experience, great fishing and to "get away" the Outpost is definitely a great option.

You will be amazed by the friendliness of the staff, extra-clean facilities, superbe service, high-end gear, and amazing fishing. If you are looking to experience an amazing salmon fishing trip, look no further, West Coast Fishing Club is a sure bet. I highly recommend to anyone considering it. I have been there myself to the Clubhouse and the North Island Lodge, and both are unique and fantastic experiences. Tight lines everyone!

Each and every time has been an outstanding experience, from the moment you check in at the South Terminal of YVR. The lodge staff welcomes you upon arrival and makes a point of quickly learning and addressing you by name. The guides are experienced and friendly. The boats are top quality. Oh, and the fishing, wildlife, and scenery are outstanding. You'll never have a better wilderness experience than visiting the West Coast Fishing Club.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip from start to finish. The accommodations, food, staff and fishing were just outstanding!! Special mention goes to the dining staff and our guide Tucker. We also appreciated all the extra measures and protocols they put in place for Covid that kept us completely safe. We were never put in contact with anyone outside the fishing trip and were only on Langara Island which is a seperate island above the main island. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime opportunity.
