★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love to go there to volunteer and spend some quality time with the residents. For four years coming there, I have never heard a complaint from the residents. We had a chance to try the lunch one day too which was really tasty, and then - oh my god - home made cookies! This is the place I want to retire one day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Residents at the Victorian are always welcome to as much of any food at any meal that they want, portions are never restricted. The Victorian is well known in Vernon for serving excellent high quality food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Victorian home is in a very quite area surrounded with beautiful garden. The atmosphere and friendly stuff make you feel like coming home and always welcome. Excellent food and very good care about people make each person feelings special and it is always nice to visit my friend there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed in this Retirement Residence. Staff were great but management seems to be the problem. Meals were not sufficient, 1/2 cup porridge (being generous) for breakfast with very little milk (no cream!) and one egg. Lunch was usually a larger meal but dinner was pretty sparse. One night while the building was under lock down due to a flue, I stopped to check on my dad. He had one sandwich (thin piece of ham that didn't cover the bread) and a plastic cup filled 1/4 full of apple sauce.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY....EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH IT! (My Dad is now in Heron Grove and still comments daily how much better it is there than the Victorian! )

They serve high quality food, prepared by a trained chef. Residents are never limited to the amount of food they can eat, and snacks are available at any time of day.
The building sits on a quiet cul de sac, and is surrounded by big trees and a beautiful garden.
The owner and staff go above and beyond, to ensure all of their residents have the best quality of life possible.
