★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give it a zero I would! I've been at UBCO for 3 years and whether its regular life or during the pandemic UBCO has been A NIGHTMARE to deal with when you need ANY kind of help. Professors are usually fine, but academic advisors and staff DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. You are a number to them and they just want your money. Tuition has been DRAMATICALLY increased despite school being transitioned to online/remote. We are paying for the facilities we don't have access to! Not to mention also being forced to pay for bus passes and other fees that only would apply to in person attendance! Oh and also don't get me started on the school not making up it's mind for months about when to return to in person classes and then out of the blue deciding to return to in person and giving students less than a MONTH to return/move back to Kelowna and find housing to attend in person exams. If you've lived in Kelowna you would know that this is an IMPOSSIBLE feat. Do not go here if you can help it. Okanagan College was a WAYYYYYY better experience than UBCO and if I could finish my degree there I 10/10 would!!! Be sure you don't run into any issues because you won't get any help from the school (and likely not your profs either).
