Missed Nigerian suya so much that when I came across Suya Bistro downtown and had a taste I was hooked. I'm definitely coming back this weekend again with my friends

This is the only restaurant who got the real taste of Nigeria suya? and I’ve tried a few. Highly recommend and the jollof is so tasty!!

Portions are wayyy too small at this location. I spent 40.00 for a beef suya plate and one with Jollof. The location at Bradstock is wayyy better. This is highway robbery and sad.

I had an awful experience here. We were waiting for 45 minutes for 4 wrap and one jallof which is way too long and to make it worse the food was not even fresh. It was frozen and all they needed to do was to microwave it. The quality of the food was not good and it didn’t worth the price.

I’m a big fan of Suya so when I found out that there was a Suya restaurant in DT Toronto I was so excited to try it out but the experience has been very disappointing. The beef suya was quite tasteless and was missing the authentic suya flavour. Suya is supposed to have at least a hint of spice but this dish seriously lacked heat. The Jollof plate was also equally disappointing. The flavour was mid at best. And like with the beef suya, it lacked any hint of spice. The Jollof rice also tasted stale as of it was prepared the day before. All in all both of the dishes I tried lacked authenticity. They didn’t taste very much like authentic Nigerian food. My advice to the owners is to please improve on your food quality. I don’t mind paying $20 per plate but I expect the food to at least taste good.

I came across this place yesterday and excitedly ordered a Chicken Suya plate take-out at 3pm. Apparently the only dish left at the time. I liked the flavour and spice but the chicken itself looked like it was cooked the day before. Not what I expected for $20+tax. I may give the place another chance but this was not a good first experience for me,.

I got the jollof rice with BBQ chicken. 2/10 Chicken was bland and didn't like the fact that your charging $20 for microwave rice and chicken. You should avoid this place.

The food here is blessed! Only place to find good suya in downtown Toronto! Amazing customer service as well! Will definitely be a regular here.
