★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place Either my husband or I are in shopping every other week! Located in Kensington Market, this is one of the well established businesses. The best selection of spices in Toronto! Also nuts, seeds, flours( wheat and others) chutneys hot sauces, samosas, paneer, naan bread. Large selection of coffee, flavored coffee, teas and other beverages! I could go on! A must visit if you are in Toronto from out of town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for well priced and high variety spices. I haven't tried the coffee yet but it looks interesting. I'd love to know the roasting time and freshness.
The store itself is a gem. I would only ask maybe a map or some sort of guide as it's hard to find stuff while trying to social distance and not take too much browsing time.
Great place though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This may be my new favourite place on earth... they have everything! Staff were all extremely friendly, prices very reasonable, and everything is fresh and vibrant. I discovered so many spices and found peppers that I've been searching for forever. The place is small and with hand written signs, but I honestly think it adds to the experience. Go here for 1 special thing, but you will leave with bags full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection of global spices and seasonings. They have a great price for a box of saffron which will cost you more elsewhere. They also have dried ghost peppers and scorpion peppers etc. Nice little hot sauce selection too and much, much more. Whether you cook at home or you're a chef in a fancy restaurant, The House of Spice in Kensington Market has got you covered. The folks that work here are pretty friendly too.

Store is well stocked with an array of spices and seasoning from around the world along with grains, beans, nuts and coffee just to say a few.
Thou it's a tight fit if it gets busy there is sufficient space to move around carefully.
Choices are plentiful, the owners are easy to talk to and quick to offer helpful suggestions and advice with a smile.
Cash, debit and most credit cards except Amex is accepted at checkout.
Absolutely most stop in the Kensington Market area.
