J	John King on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just ok. We had the valentine's day table de haute. It was pretty soon after the latest reopening from COVID related closure and the wait staff seemed new/off. I suspect there were issues somewhere or everywhere from BoH to FoH. Were saw two other tables also having some issues, an easy example: take next to us had steak but no steak knife was provided. He asked but still did not get one so he used his butter knife. They also had other issues. Our issues were different and nothing terrible but we hoped for better at the price point. The building is very nice, the wine list was pretty extensive.

A great suggestion of wine was offered and did not disappoint. It took a very big downside as the mains arrived. I had ordered the duck breast. It was over cooked , bland and quite literally the smallest breast I’ve seen. Served on what I assume was supposed to be rice or risotto? What I got was just overcooked mushy rice watered down. As for the side of congee vegetables was very dry and not a single bit of seasoning on anything. Summed up , it simply was not a 32$ plate My wife had the meatloaf. It was decent , well plated and she was satisfied with the dish. Overall I would say the experience was okay. Atmosphere was nice and very relaxed. Beautiful decors and table set up otherwise.

We have never been treated so well. The food was beyond delicious and the drinks were also superb! Love that they feature Perth Brewery beer as well as Top Shelf Distillers liquor. The restaurant has a warm, intimate and romantic ambiance perfect for any celebration. Thank you once again to the chef's and front of house staff our night was unforgettable!

This was our second pick. Great decor and ambiance. It's a little on the pricey to overpriced side, but this place doesn't serve pub food. Great local beer and good wine selection. The food was good; not awesome. I hope the pics I took do the plates justice. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that as soon as I put my dessert spoon down, the bill and pos machine were brought to the table and our server asked politely for us to move along for another reservation and that there was a 2 hour COVID-19 time limit restriction we weren't advised of. We had been there less than 90 minutes. That was the ending to our experience.

Super friendly staff greeting at the door and straight through to the shady patio in the back to enjoy the comings and goings of the town. We enjoyed some delicious amber ales from the local Perth Brewery and oysters followed by some small plates of olives and feta and the tastiest pretzels. The charcuterie was also excellent. Recommended!
