This Is Who We Are.
Co-Owners April and Kelly have been doing hair about a combined 40 years. They have a passion and love for hair and making peoples’ dreams come true. Rounding out the team, we have 6 stylists and 1 barber. All extremely educated in the trade, it is our goal for you, the client, to have a special experience, where your wishes become a reality. Our talented stylists have the knowledge to get you where you want to be, through thorough consultation, without compromising the integrity of your hair in the process.
Our Story
We want your hair to look fabulous, luminous and healthy.
We decided to go look at some old vintage hair equipment at what was Stano’s Coiffeurs. Upon coming into the space we fell in love with it. Vintage, retro and AMAZING. So what was talked about via text quickly took form in becoming our baby. What came next was some elbow grease and The Sapphire Hair Lounge quickly became what we envisioned.
It is the perfect mix of modern and vintage, where truly whimiscal hairstyling takes form. We want you to be the next beauty featured on our Star Photo Wall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bri greeted me warmly when I arrived & took my coat. My stylist Kelly ushered me in shortly after and the whole experience was fantastic! I wanted to go blonde after years of box dye and Kelly set realistic expectations. It turned out great and I had so much fun chatting with her and her team. A group of super talented, knowledgeable, and fantastic women. I wont go anywhere else now!

The shop itself is so cute, clean and welcoming! All the staff members there are friendly. You can tell each and everyone there loves what they do. Highly recommend!! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my daughter have had Kellie as our stylist. So far, this salon is a breath of fresh air. Kellie has been great and seems to know a lot about fine, curly/wavy hair and is willing to listen and respect how I desire to manage it on a daily basis. The consultation was thorough and not rushed. I really liked that. She had a difficult task of fixing a terrible cut I had at another salon just a month prior but she did a really good job to make it look great for when I leave it curly/wavy and for when I straightened it. She actually watered my hair during the consultation so she could see the texture in it's natural state, before it's brushed out. No one's ever done that. She definitely made the 2 bus excursion worth it.
It was only a first visit. I'll be making another visit in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the absolute best time with Danae. She respected my boundaries and was really good with making sure I was okay. I let her do her own thing when she was colouring my hair and told her I wanted it to be a surprise. She was so careful and when it was done, I was speechless on how amazing it looked. I would definitely go over and over again. Even told me that I can bring my dog! Super excited as my service dog didn't have her vest yet and she was so wonderful about it all.
