★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the store looking for a few pairs of summer shorts. I happen to come across a beautiful Blazer that looked like it had never been worn so I tried it on and it fit perfectly the price was a ridiculously low $7 but when I took it to the cash register I was informed that since it had a yellow ticket it was now half price. So $3.50 for a jacket that must have been close to $200 new. I also bought a Arrow golf shirt for $4. Sounds about right for a thrift store right? Well just for comparison Value Village had some ratty golf shirts that were $9.95 and the cheapest Sports jacket they had was $38.50. So all in all shop for a real charity get some decent clothes for a cheap price and feel good about doing it. That's the Salvation Army

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Denied my 13 year old son a "student discount" because he wasn't 15?!? Even though he was buying for himself for a school fun band thing. Not impressed. Usually pretty happy with this place, and happy to support, but don't think that very nice and those rules are a little too rigid
